Excellent gas mileage and still has power!

Has all the new safety features, roomy, stylish and a hybrid that gets more that 50 mpg. I have no trouble pulling into a busy highway quickly as it has plenty of power which was one of my concerns with switching to a hybrid vehicle. No more concerns. I love my Kia Niro!

Kia Niro Hybrid delivers on promises

KIA as always delivers a good deal with all the features that are loaded on the car and the warranty continues to be the best in the car market. My average mpg has been around 50+ mpg..which is so great that I had hard time believing it until I checked it several times as I filled the gas tank. Even in rush hour traffic! Lots of room for my tall friends in the back seat as well as the front. The entertainment system has lots of features that I'm still learning but I like that I can load up my own playlists and not have to depend on Sirus when driving cross country. While I can display all that's on my phone on the Kia screen I still use my phone on a phone holder when using Google maps as I prefer the road level view but you can just use the Kia screen if you want to. I like that you can more power when needed by having the gas and electric motors combined to give it that extra horsepower when merging onto freeways. Handles well and the seating is comfortable.

Best car I?ve owned

I needed a car that was comfy, with good music and offered good gas mileage, as I am on the road daily. This car fit the bill perfectly. Base model is very comfy, has plenty bells and whistles, and usually gets 50mpg in town or highway. Stylish black exterior that holds up even on coastal area.

Hybrid technology has come a long way

My last hybrid was a 2009 Ford Escape. I loved that car but Ford stopped making them. I was excited to find the Niro. It is a bit smaller than my Escape but it suits my needs. The battery is placed so that there is plenty of cargo space and the back seats fold down flat. I love the integration of Apple CarPlay and adaptive cruise control. The back up camera and lane change warnings add safety. I drove the car 300 miles in one day - the seat was comfortable and I achieved 60 mpg! This performance doesn't come close to other hybrid SUVs available today. * I gave Reliability at 3 star rating because I haven't owned the car long enough to gauge its reliability.

The New Kia Hybird Is Here...and It Is Great!

Handles nicely, no lean on curves, holds the road well, well insulated, and has a snappy style, too. As a former mechanic, I like the concept of a small engine that powers and regenerates the battery pack under the rear seat (almost invisible!)...and it charges the battery anytime you decelerate or use your brakes. It is also good for our pocketbook (est saving, $3,000 yr). We got over 50 per gallon on our first tank of gas... I highly recommend the Kia Niro.

GREAT SAFE HYBRID

I love the Kia Niro! It's a safe, reliable vehicle with the added benefit of being a hybrid. A great value for your money! Over 500 miles per tank of gas. Can't beat it!

Looks good, Great value for a Hybrid SUV

I only test drove this car so I'm only going to give my input on the drive. First thing I noticed was the transmission on this car. It's hard to miss that because it acts weird in slow speed. Like it's confused on which gear it needs to be. When you need that power, it doesn't downshift on time and it's so annoying. It's like turbo lag! Everything else is fine but the tranny was a deal breaker for me. If you don't notice this kind of things, then this car is fine for you. I'm very picky with my tranny and this bothers me a lot.

More bang for your buck

Kia is one of the best in the league for bang for your buck. I got the EX model and it comes with every bell and whistle that the luxury vehicles have. And truthfully that's what set the Niro a part from the others I was looking at. The Niro is really pretty great. Mileage is exactly as it says (which is not necessarily true with the Touring trim level, which is why I didn't want it), I drive 2 hours a day in mixed driving, and I range from getting 50-58 MPG. Space is great and we've already taken full advantage of it - the other day we bought a used weight bench with weights and it fit just fine (it was taken apart). I definitely recommend it.

Blown away by the Kis Niro

I am a UBer driver and I love the 52 miles I getting with my new Niro. My passages are also like the new car and he lead to many complements and tips. Thank you Kia, you turn a 20 year old Toyota driver to a Kia driver

Enjoying my new KIA NIRO HYBRID EX!

This car is fun to drive and stylish enough to own. For a Hybrid it is already delivering well above the specs and it is so much cooler looking than the Prius. It is very spacious inside. And Pilar Luna at Galpin helped me and was so kind and thorough!
