Happy Owner
I purchased my 2011 Kia SorentoEX in Feb 2010. The bluetooth hands free phone is excellent feature for me as i travel on Interstate for 5 hr weekend trip to visit family.I am able to recieve and check in with family while I am traveling without fumbling with phone. I moved from driving a Camry to Sorento. I was concerned about the transition to SUV size and handling on highway. It is such a comfort and easy to handle. Great milage and handling. Pleasantly surprising quality and comfort for the price. And My Kia has recieved many compliments. It is very classy, with nice leather. I have 2nd row seating only. I passed on 3rd row seating so its extremely roomy storage.

Sorento Good Choice
The 2011 Kia Sorento is everything that you need and more. With standard Bluetooth, Sirius satellite radio, and Telescopic steering wheel this vehicle is beyond what one would expect in a KIA. This is now the third KIA that I have owned and the quality, and reliability just keep getting better. Recently it snowed and the Sorento handled very well in the slick conditions and felt very sturdy. I just can't wait to take it off road and really put it to the test. I would recommend the 2011 Sorento to all. It has a array of options that also come in handy like heated front seats, back-up camera and third row seating. You too will love this all new CUV from KIA.

A real owner's review...
I'm 6 months and 6500 miles into my 3 year lease. I'm happy it's a lease cuz I'm already counting down the days until I can move out of this over priced go-cart! The exterior and interior styling is very good. The engine (V-6) is very good. Cloth seats are above average. Gas mileage is not so great and I drive very easy in most conditions. Transmission is mostly good but can be rough on the down shifting around 30mph. Then it can get grabby like the engine is breaking...dragging. Makes breaking kind of a competition between you and the car. You break...it breaks...you let up...it lets up...etc. frequently, the breaks go from weak to instantly grabby and that can be out right dangerous!! Between the inconsistent breaks and the transmission, stopping becomes more like an athletic event! I often find myself (and my passengers) lurching forward when trying to break normally...it's rarely smooth. You kind of pump the break to slow and stop the way you want and that's just not how it should be...never had to do that before. Standard radio is average at best...doesn't sound very clear nor powerful. Door panels vibrate with the volume louder but not full blast. I would have expected better at this price point. I also would have expected auto-headlights, compass and exterior temperature at this trim and price. Again, at this price I would have expected these things and much more. Up until this vehicle I always got much more for much less money...where is the value we always hear about? The interior has several bangs, rattles and vibrations. At this price the interior should be rock solid and quiet. Too many annoying sounds that tell you your car is a cheap rattle box! Who wants that!? Makes you dissapointed almost every time you drive. Sunroof broke within a couple weeks and finally got fixed. It was making a bunch of bad noises including vibrations but those were (mostly) fixed...for now. I'm not confident those irritating sounds will not return when the warm weather arrives and I use the sunroof more regularly again. SUSPENSION...TERRIBLE!!!!!!! The ride of this vehicle destroys the entire experience! It makes you feel like you are driving a go-cart over the smallest imperfections in the road. Amazing that road reflectors feel like you are driving over a brick. Every little bump or crack is transmitted right up through the vehicle and makes the ride very harsh and jarring...bumpy and uncomfortable! Makes the interior rock rattle bang and clang. Suspension is very noisy as well. You can see your passengers are not enjoying the ride...EMBARRASSING!! The tires also seem cheap for this vehicle. you can hear the suspension bang over every little thing and then you feel it as well. worse vehicle I've ever driven and all while being the most expensive. Even my used cars from 25 years ago drove better than this thing! KIA knows the problem but if they will not satisfy me with a recall or some other rememdy then chances are they will lose me for a repeat customer. Not to mention my poor reviews to friends, family and to all of you... I might be more forgiving in my review but my experience with leasing cars for the past 16 years has been me getting much better vehicles (loaded with more options and QUALITY) with a far superior ride at a much lower price...much better value then what I'm getting from this 2011 Sorento! The Sorento still gives you a fair amount of eye-candy but take a long test drive before you buy or you might find you're left with a sour taste... KIA has it's work cut out for them if they want me back in two and half years from now...unlikely.

why not to buy this car
I really researched this before I bought, and you will not really know this until you buy. The suspension is super tight and it drives like a Corvette, not an SUV. You feel every bump and it makes the car interior rattle because the suspension does not absorb the hits, the car does. The estimated miles per gallon on the V6, 20 city and 26 hwy are not very accurate. I live in FL - it is flat, I do not drive tough and I get 19 combined and Hwy, 22 Max. KIA knows the suspension is not comfortable but they know that not that many people complain so why change it. Stop buying this car and they will pay attention. About the MPG, they say the Government did the study.

SX 2011
After reviewing several SUV's for purchase. The KIA won out over the Ford Edge and the Toyota Venza. It was not even close. First of all KIA wanted to sell me this car for the right price. Ford and Toyota played the number game. Not enough rebate money from them either. But it was the options on the KIA that was the winner for me. Fully loaded with all the options, I like all the toys. Plus, it is a good looking car.

stylish, reliable, excellent value for the money
turns on a dime, hugs the road, superb brake system, many compliments on its classy exterior. The manuual transmission offers great control and the hill hold is awesome. THe all weather tires it came with did not perform as expected on pa. snowy hills but getting new winter tires has totallly solved the problem. Have had it almost a year, and love it.
