Very Happy
We traded a 2004 Ford Explorer for the 2012 Kia Sorento. We had been looking at the new Explorer, Ford Escape and Nissan Rogue but decide on the Kia because of the excellent value and all the standard feartures that the Kia has for 2012. We got 20 mpg on our first tank of gas which was mostly around town and expect to get in the high 20's on the road. The 4 cylinder engine has plenty of pep and is a fun car to drive. Exterior stlying is among the best for a midsize SUV. This is my first Kia and hope it won't be my last.

Excellent value
I traded my 2008 adrenlin sport track ford for this 2012 sorento. I loved my truck but needed something more economic. I 've had it a month and a half. Went to New Orlean from Houston and got 29.5 mpg. I think once it s broken in more i should get at least 30mpg. Good styling and comfortable to drive.

Great Truck
I looked around for three weeks to find a suitable replacement for my wife's 2005 Buick Rendezvous. One of the first requirements was that it had to get better gas mileage than the Buick and that left quite a few of the suv/xovers out. She settled on the Sportage. When she was out of town over the weekend I bought her the Sorento as a birthday surprise after not being able to find the color she wanted optioned to her liking. After running the numbers the Sorento was optioned the way we wanted with no unwanted extras. I was worried how she would react because she's a smaller person and we had only driven the Sportage. When she returned I had a bow on the grill of the Sorento, which is an Ex AWD with UVO and push button start, and she took to it immediately. She loves all the gadgets and equipment and thinks it looks better than the Sportage. She asked about the increased gas mileage because it was a bigger vehicle than the Sportage and I explained to her that the gas mileage was the same. She said we had driven a four cylinder in the Sportage and after explaining to her this was a four she was surprised because the thing goes so well for a vehicle that size. Here's the best part, the city mileage of the Sorento is better than the highway mpg of the Buick which had less power and was aV6! Fit and finish is good and this truck has more get up and go than the Buick we traded in. We've only had it a week now but she's in absolute truck heaven with the ride, looks, and especially mpg. With features like push button start, hill assist, awd push button lock, and panic braking sensor for this price it's a great value!

outstanding value
Traded a Ford Edge on the Sorento and am sure glad we did. This vehicle is head and shoulders above the rest of it's competitors in styling, fit, fuel economy, and overall value. You are wasting your money if you buy anything else. We live in Georgia where the Sorento is built and I have been fortunate enough to tour the factory on business and the employees take real pride in what they do. Very impressive.

The New UVO Radio is amazing
We've owned our 2012 Sorento EX V6 for just two weeks now but my wife and I both love it. The ride is firm but comfortable, handling excellent, fuel economy is a nice improvement from our MDX, there is plenty of room, but the neatest feature is the UVO radio. It integrates beautifully with my smart phone, and has the most sophisticated voice control software I've seen. Considering we paid about 2/3 of what a new MDX would cost, this is a real bargain.

Same reliability as the Hyundai, better styling
I've still own a 2006 Hyundai Sonata and it's never given me any trouble whatsoever. The Sorento's styling is head and shoulders above what Hyundai offers, and the fit & trim, power, and warranty blows Honda, and Toyota out of the water. Haven't had the new Sorento for long, but so far I'm impressed.
