Kia stood by their warranty!

Have owned this SUV for 8 years, over 100,000 miles, and Kia just replaced my motor no charge due to oil consumption! Have not had many problems with this car and there is no rust at all on this car! Definitely got my $$ worth!

Need more Kias had two engine problems. Go out of

No more Kia. Say 100;000 miles warranty bull!!!!!!!!! Don't stand behind it.And always this or that is not covered anymore. So just go and get a Honda. That's going to be reliable. And stand and you want have to continue to spend money bout on a way to ride to places.

Could not have expected more

Great style, super comfortable, handles like a sports car, lots of power with the V6. Took it on several long trips and it performed excellent. Was a dealer demo with 2k miles when we purchased it and 7 years 45k miles later it drives like new. We plan on keeping it for a long time. Hope we don't experience some of the things written in the reviews. There is a flaw in the body - left end of the chrome trim above the back plate caves in. Dealer did a curtesy repair but it came back. We see other 2013 models with same issue. Not caused from closing the hatch.

Disappointed engine locked up W/kids in the car

My 2013 Kia Sorento, that I keep maintained, I’ve had a few recalls corrected on it but recently while on the freeway my vehicle seized up and turned off while I was driving, thank god nobody was behind us and I was able to steer to the outter part to get out of the way of traffic, I have seen numerous reports of engine issues, there are no error codes reading and no check engine light or anything else coming on, the mechanic said this is common in kias due to them being mass produced and I am absolutely sick that this could of caused us to get into a horrible accident. The vin is not part of the recall and absolutely it seems many more should be I am at 143,000 miles and I am being told now that it may be a new engine and at this point it’s not worth it to me. I will never buy another Kia I will make sure to share my experience everywhere that I possibly can because this should not have happened and the vehicle has been well maintained. Shame on you Kia motors!!!

GOOD LUCK IF YOU OWN ONE

Bought new in 2013, been on several vacation trips, 7 passenger suv, no room for luggage, LX model w/ 4 cyl engine.. 3 sets of tires so far, 95,000 plus miles... have had lots of problems & kia and dealers won't help without $$$$$$$... BRAKE light stays on all the time, ABS, TRACTION CONTROL, and DOWNHILL ASST lights stay on all the time.... In the last two weeks I have put NEW TIRES ON, NEW BRAKE PADS ON ALL FOUR WHEELS, NEW TAILGATE LIFTS.. (ALL THIS IN THE LAST 2 WEEKS)... But the dash warning lights are STILL ON..... All the CODE READERS will not define what the problem is, says there's nothing wrong... so far there's no recall for these problems.... Everything has been checked out but can't find a problem yet... Since KIA can't do anything for me, I'm gonna try to find another automobile - maybe a Ford suv or something.... I need something that is dependable and safe for my family.... This is just too DANGEROUS... drive until something happens.... forget that!!!

Very versatile and affordable SUV

Whether you're needing to transport up to 6 passengers (1 front, 3 middle and 2 for 3rd row) or haul off some funiture, appliance or lumber, this 2013 V6 Sorento with 3rd row seats allows it to be very versatile for all your needs. This vehicle is also equipped with backup camera, heated & automatic seats, roof rack, cruise control and more. Even though the right side has received some cosmetic moderate damage (dents between both doors and some scratches along the side), this is car is in great working condition. It's received all maintenance at Kia of Des Moines and has never had any mechanical issues.

Not so reliable vehicle.

When I reached 145,000 kms, started to burn oil. Now it is 165,000 kms. Keep adding oil like 1 quart in between oil changes - 5,0000 km. Started the suspension to bounce on uneven roads, having noise when you turn and sometimes when you brake. I still use it because I can’t afford to buy a new vehicle.
