Good value for the money

Bought in September 2019, before the pandemic and before the chip shortage for $25900.00 . Now have 65700 miles with no trouble. If you want a reasonable reliable SUV this is it. American made in West Point , GA. Built by non union workers so you will not get the junk the United Auto Workers Union builds. Always use synthetic oil, change every 8-10 thousand miles. Yokohama tires it came with only lasted 40,000 miles. Have Cooper tires on all my autos now, great wearing tires.

No review.

Trouble with oil pan leaking.Apparently a number of persons have had the same problem.Lots of oil pans in stock locally,no problem to find one.Seems as though this is a known problem. But the problem is blamed on the local garages.Dealer says the local garages tightens the plug too much.Anyone else out there with same problem?

Love EXCEpT battery dies frequently

Love this car EXCEPT. The battery was already replaced after one year. Battery died during a span of 3 days not driving during Thanksgiving. Just sitting in garage. Happened several times after that Initial time after it sat for only a day or two. Dealership replaced battery. Didn’t find anything wrong. And here we are again another Thanksgiving break. Last drove on Tuesday. And here it is Saturday and battery dead. Something draws from the battery when the vehicle is off. Temperature during this was 60 degrees.

Better performance, more room holds more people

I totaled my chevy Equinox. I bought my 2019 Kia Sorento. It's great. Great on gas I have 3 rolls of seats. Now I can have 7 people in my SUV. I'm extremely happy 😊 with this vehicle. I also own a 2017 Kia Optima. My son has a 2017 Kia Forte. He loves his car. We are a Kia family now. Best choice I made.

The mini Kia Telluride with the V6 engine choice!

Kia dropped the V6 Sorento due to the fact they introduced the Kia Telluride which has been extremely popular. They only kept the V6 going until 2020 model year for the Sorento. I mean it is a $20,000 less vehicle then the Kia Telluride. So anybody that knows anything about cars you should jump on the 2019, 2020 Kia Sorento models with the V6 engine. It gets around 34 miles to the gallon highway and about 26 miles to a gallon around town. Has more room then the average SUV can't even sit 7 passengers in a pinch. Trouble free driving this V6 motor was tried-and-true in a lot of Kia cars I did my homework. Also it can tow up to 5000 pounds. Toyota and Honda people just don't get it this was actually a great Kia product that no one paid attention to until they made the Kia Telluride. All they did what's put different sheet metal and use a different platform of this excellent model. Save yourself around $20,000 and buy a used 2017 through 2020 Kia Sorento and you have a mini Kia Telluride with better gas mileage and a payment you can live with not a $40,000 monster payment.

Kia Sorrento

We are currently in our 5th Kia. Our first one was the Sedona van and we have had 4 Sorrento’s. We have never had any issues with them until recently. We had lights come on the dash stating an issue with the collision avoidance system. We checked with Kia service to see if it was safe to drive until we could get it in for repair, and we’re told that we could drive it. Over the next 10 days, additional warning lights came on and were reported to the service department. When we got the vehicle in for repairs, after 2 hours, we were advised that there were so many fault codes coming up that they would have to work with Kia Manufacturing to begin with finding out what was needed. It has been almost 10 days and they have still not located the problems! I consider this a major electrical problem! This is the Sorrento Limited with almost every option that Kia offered.

Warranty Issues

I bought the car when it was 1 year old with 40K miles. I have called the dealer with several repair issues and they will not answer the phone or return calls. I called the dealer in Pensacola and had the same results. I have had to pay a mechanic to repair warranty issues. Right now the AC is draining into the passenger compartment. There is a little coming from under the car but not enough. I lodged a complaint with the corporate web site and got a promise of a returned call within 48 hours. No call, as of right now. They brag about 10 year 100K warranty but that doesn't matter if you can't get them to take the car.
