2010 Kia Soul consumer reviews

I have really shopped around for about a month, and drove a Scion XD, Toyota Matrix, Yaris, Chevy Aveo, and the Honda Fit before I decided to purchase a Kia Soul. For what I paid for the soul I was extremely "HAPPY" especially for all the nice features you get with it! Sporty, lots of interior room, Great features inside even for the "plus" model you get so much for the money!!!! And it's fun and really nice to drive. I went from a Honda Element that I had for 3+years. I really can't believe some of the attitude I got with the better dealerships, I really walked out disappointed and frustrated that they treat you like that. I would definitely recommend the Kia Soul. and the dealership!!!!!

I just purchased a 2010 Soul Plus in Green, just because I was so impressed by the whole package. And just as previous owners, I was floored by all the bells and whistles it packs on a budget. What I wasn't quiet prepared though, was for all the attention from both young and old! It seems that people can't help but smile and stare. If your not too keen on all the attention from onlookers, I'd suggest a more subtle color. But if your ready for your close up, get the ALIEN GREEN!

This is you your Soul? Well it might be. I was for me. I owned a 1/2 dozen different cars but this is my first new car. The Soul looks cool and with 18 inch wheel drives very sharply. The interior is great with an intense sound system and great features like Blue Tooth. Mileage is less than I hoped for with my average of 24.1 MPG in mostly city driving. I like/love this car.

Good ride for the small wheel base. Great visibility and decent gas mileage. Young looking and sporty.

I have horrendous credit, but a decent income as a full-time waiter at walt disney world in orlando. I lost my butt in rental investments and filed bankruptcy a year ago. I also am swallowed in defau;ted PERSONAL student loans and the fees keep piling up. I do have GOVERNMENT STAFFORD LOANS, WHICH ARE DEFERRED OR i AM PAYING ON TIME. My credit report ia bad and score under 500. NO car dealership ( i tried 4) would even subnit my application, with no little down, and said it would be a waste of alls' time. I fortunately found a kia dealership in retirement land in florida, about 45 minutes outside of orlando. They had ONE soul, the exact one i wanted with every detail. Ignition Orange, soul plus, sport package equipped. They were motivated because the snow birds in Lake Wales wanted nothing to do with this sporty model. They wanted sedans. Unbelievably this finanxe director got me approved through a local bank, a decent rate, affordable payment, and came down from 19,5k to 15,5k which was my second offer, and no money down.. 1 I got the exact model, extras, color, loaded to the max. I actually have had people flag me down to ask where i got it, the cost, AND GET THIW.... CAN THEY DRIVE IT? THIS CAR PERFORMS AND OUTPERFORMS MY ORIGINAL THOUGHTS. IT BLOWS THE SCION AND ELEMENT, AND CUBE AWAY.... VERY VERY VERY HAPPY AND LUCKY!!! I GOT SOUL BABY!!!!

I've been driving my new 2010 Kia Soul for a few weeks now and I have to say it's high on the FUN factor. It's like an adults GoCart on STEROIDS. There is so much to like about this car. Lots of great tech features, sits up so I feel like I'm driving a small SUV, all the knobs/buttons and tactiles feel solid and quality, LOVE how the console and speakers light up at night, the heat comes on fast and gets HOT (I live in MinneSNOWta btw), stable on the snowy or wet roads, tinted solar back windows for privacy, awesome stereo AND my insurance went down $100 because of the high safety rating!!! The warranty is one of the best also. I got the alien green but my friends call it Mint Sherbet or ECO GREEN. Sat in the backseat and am astonished with how much room is back there for my friends. Anyways, the only flaw is the plastic on the side doors can scratch if you aren't sorta careful but otherwise I'm thrilled, THRILLED to have this car. It was well designed both inside and out.

I had 5 appts. to see different cars, Element, Scion XB and XD, Jeep Patriot,Honda Fit, and Nissan Cube. My intention was never to buy at that time, since I loved my Mazda B4000. I did the whole internet research for 2 months. Kia was my 1st appointment (9:15am)and my last. The Soul+ was everything I was looking for and more. After a major car accident 10 yrs. ago. I swore never to buy a small car. The Soul has 6 airbags, handles great for it's size. The warranty is great. The features for the price is top of the line. And upgrades are always available. Everybody at work are really impressed, but not as much as me. Great investment! Thanks Kia!

I shopped all the cars in this price range and kept comoing back to the soul... Its the best bang for the buck... and the coolest looking... The quality is all there.. Great job Kia !!!

I clunked my husbands truck to buy this vehicle and never looked back. It's just a fun toy and it makes me laugh every time I get in it to drive. The handling is great and it responds nicely. My primary transportation is a motorcycle so this is a nice "other" vehicle to have on the side. I would highly recommend this choice for anyone looking for a new car!

The kia soul + has to be the car buy of the century! It is great at everything it has been asked to do, +. We loaded a 4.6 cu' cap. frnt load washer in the back, and for good measure we picked up a 7.6 cu' dryer two months later. What a car, what a price. What can beat it?
