I owned a 03 disco, that had close to 200k before an accident totaled her, it still looked great inside and , everything besides seat heater still worked, I towed my 22 ft speedboat about 15 to 20 times a summer up to 500 miles a trip, 4 wheeled alot, not just easy dirt road driving either, took it snowboarding all over WV,PA,VT, once through a blizzard, Snowshoe got 26 in that night, went on like it was a dry summer night, I recently bought a mint one owner 75k original mileage, 04 disco, dealer maintained, pretty much all original besides head gasket job at 70 k, that was also the only major repair on my 03, best purpose built suv ever, the LR3 and 4s are nice but beat a disco II

If you buy a disco , do all your schedule maintenance, it will last you a long time , I have not had any issues with mine as all the required maintenance is done

when the few say that its expensive to own to fix . lol All vehicles have the need to its fixes , only this one is once its done its for life time . I rather invest in to old then new .

Loved it, want another one desperately, towed 23ft boat 4oo miles almost every weekend, off roaded it regularly, took it across snow covered mountain on snow board trips from wv, pa, vermont

Everything was amazing with this truck you had power it was durable and reliable never had any issues with it mechanically one issue would be it uses a lot of gas but that's to be expected.

This car is amazing. I've loved every minute in it since I got it 9 years ago. It is powerful and reliable. It is also in outstanding shape for being a 2004 vehicle. It has taken me around cities, off-road, and even across the country. Hard not to fall in love with it after driving it around.

I still love this truck. It has taken me to several countries and never let me down. It's the most comfortable long trip vehicle I have ever driven.

Loved : the utilitarian design, the features, the space, the transmission and GO ANYWHERE four wheel drive. It was cool looking and different from other suv?s. Hated: made by drunken Englishmen the engine was crap. I fixed it so many times u Der warranty they paid for the car again. Then after warranty the block cracked. (100k miles) Bought a used engine with 60. Lasted another 40k died again. Gave up at that point. Do not buy unless 1. You are prepared to change engine (not bad prices, 2. You are NOT in a smog state as they won?t let you switch to another more reliable varient.
