Unbelievable
Bought this vehicle not anticipating the performance, quality and efficiency I have experienced. At age 65 I was not going to buy another Lexus or new car but the economy moved me and after seeing and driving and experiencing the driving pleasure, I was impressed. It was a big move from the GX but I have overcome that.

Luxury Hybrid
I love this stunning "little car". It is handsome, powerful and quite youthful, while retaining the charm and high level of luxury of a Lexus. It attracts many -- asking what make it is, its MPG numbers, etc. My only recommendations: a panoramic roof with solar unit like our 2010 Toyota Prius, leather seats in "carmel" and "ecru" (these choices only available in "Nuluxe" leatherette), in addition to optional black or water gray leather. The interior could be a tad roomier for comfort, but it is "just right" for 6 footers and under. Over 45 MPG is impressive. Love the quiet cabin and first-rate quality and workmanship. The ride is super smooth and the hatchback carries a lot. Great vehicle!

Great car for empty-nester woman
I spent the better part of 6 months looking for a car as close to my needs as possible: sporty, environmentally conscious, with some luxury, not outrageously expensive, not huge but with enough utility to haul around a few things if I needed to. I test drove cars that had one or a couple of my criteria but not all: Hyundai Sonata, Buick Regal, Acura TL, Infinity, Subaru...I was all over the place thinking I needed another sedan or a crossover of some kind. I am not a car person, and was frustrated that there seemed to be nothing for me out there. I had almost given up, then I read about the CT200h on the internet in November of last year and was among the first to test drive when it arrived in early March. The moment I drove it I knew it was the car for me. The CT fills the bill, and then some. I've been driving this car for about 3 weeks and I am really pleased with my purchase. I drive mainly in town and my mileage has averaged around 42mpg thus far. It takes 87 octane and I am still on my first tank of gas. It is very comfortable (the backseats are tight, but I don't usually drive people around much anyway). The interior is nice, and I have fun driving it because I love to see how much mileage I can achieve.... It is not a sportscar, it is a sporty car. The Lexus quality shines through pretty well. Far from being just an entry level Lexus, this car stands on its own for what it is: a European style hybrid hatchback at a great price point. Driving this car is a real treat and it was well worth the wait to purchase.

Nice hybrid with little bit of fun factor
i have owned the CT for more than a week now and the more and more i drive it, i like it. i got this car because i commute ~45-50 miles per day and that is what it does best - save money on gas. to me the sportier handling and upscale interior compared to other hatchbacks (i'm thinking Mazda3, Prius, civic, etc.) is worth the extra money, but if that stuff is not that important to you, please save your money since this is NOT a sportscar and doesn't drive like one. it is a fun car to drive tho once you get used to it.

Great Car
I have owned the CT for 3 weeks and while I had some reservations about the horsepower and the styling, I have grown to really appreciate the car. I drive 70 miles per day and once you get accustomed to the power, it is really a very friendly and fun car to drive. Really like the interior styling which is typically Lexus quality, the NAV is great, the ECO/Sport mode options also make the car adaptable to however I want to drive. I also love spending $27 to fill up...can't beat that.

Unbelievable Car
I've owned the car for 2 months, got it loaded without navigation. I traded in an Infiniti so I had to get used to driving a 4 cylinder. After a few days, I forget I'm driving a hybrid. Its incredible. I mostly drive in sport mode but when I'm in the city, I put it in Eco mode. The transition between electric to gas, switching of gears, toggling between eco and sport mode... its totally seemless. On the highway in sport mode, I cruise. In the city I average 44mpg and as the weather gets warmer (I'm in the North East) I notice the better mileage. I get about 41mpg on the highway. It costs my $30 to fill an empty tank. Coming from an SUV, storage is tight... but what do you expect? The interior cabin is very good. The seats are so comfortable. There is even an option to adjust the lower part of the back. The heated seats are hot and work excellent. The radio is just ok, but overlooked by all the other positive features. This is a fantastic car.

In love with my new CT 200h!
I have been driving the CT 200h for about a week now. I drive 80 miles each day to and from work (about 3 hours round trip), so I have a pretty good feel for it by now. I've been averaging 43.0 MPG and I have been driving in "Eco" mode only. First of all, I only briefly test drove the car twice at two different dealers. I put a refundable security deposit down and waited two weeks for it to arrive. In the meantime, I test drove a Prius, Mazda3, and Chevy Cruze. The Mazda3 hatchback looks very similar to the CT 200h, but it only gets 22 MPG, so if you drive as much as I do, then the CT is the same price with the cost of gas taken into account. While the Prius and the Chevy Cruze were a bit less expensive, it wasn't that much different in a payment and I just love the look of the CT. I love all the features and actually like the NuLuxe faux leather. Plus, it saves a cow hide and has low VOC emissions, so you can feel good about this upholstery. I also like the claim that the car is 85% recyclable. And at 43 MPG, I really feel like this car helps towards the goal of running a more efficient, earth-friendly society. I also did not go for the navigation. I've been living in Chicago my whole life and think I know where I'm going. I have a Tom-Tom for roadtrips. Wasn't worth the additional $3,500 to me. I've also truly enjoyed my experience with the Lexus staff. Everyone is very professional, friendly, and low pressure. Overall, I just love this car! Granted, it's only been a week with me and I drove a 1999 Saab that was falling apart before this, so I probably would have liked anything better than that! But, I truly feel that I made a good decision (and believe me, I'm an analyst for a living and spent countless hours analyzing car choices, prices, options, etc.). If you're a commuter and want to travel in a little more style than the Prius, I highly recommend this car. I can't wait until 5:00 today when I can go back and drive it home :)

Glad I Followed Through
I knew I wanted this car the moment I saw the wordds "hatchback", "hybrid" and "luxury" together on the same page. I bought this car the day after moving to San Francisco to New York, and haven't regretted a thing. Stylish, comfortable interior and exceptional handling. Combines a turning radius that makes me feel like I'm in a go-cart with a quiet and comfortable Lexus driving environment that you sacrifice with many cars with handling this good. Finally, call me a yuppie, but I really like the hatchback styling - it makes it about a thousand time easier to parallel park in the city.

35K for this?
The car I test drove would be great if it was priced at 26K not 35K. I know it's a Lexus but consider: 1)It's fake leather that they are selling on a hatch back for 35K!?! I live in South Florida so if you go to the beach the faux leather is porous which mean your body oder is will be absorbed. 2)The hatch back has limited storage space 3)The middle console is too dominate and takes up too much space in the front 4)The tank is only 12 gal so the max range is only 480 miles 5) The car handled more or less the same as the Prius I test drove. To be fair I test drove both on the same day. 6)If you are 6'4 then there is no way your knees will feet 7)All that being said I would improve the rating to a 5 across the board if this was on sale for 26K. I mean a tripped out Civic is 25K and I could justify paying 1K more for the name "Lexus" but when compared to a Sonata, Focus, Prius, or a Civic the 200h ranks last for the value.

Amazing car!
This is one car I walk up to and want to drive. CT 200h Premium in white, Awkward side view, but handsome nose and rear view. Sort of Boy racer. Wonderful interior, well placed controls except for reach to front power window switches. Feel of quality; same or better mileage than my (past) 2008 Prius, which I HATED! Power ok in all modes and good in Sport mode. This is actually the "second" car to our 2011 Mustang GT convertible which is truly fast, but somehow I want to turn to the CT and drive it?! Bravo Lexus!
