2008 Lexus IS 250 consumer reviews

Test drove (took home) the BMW 330i and considered the Camry and Accord. The Camry and Accord were just a few dollars less...making the Lexus the better deal. The BMW had the passion and performance but not the perfection. The Lexus has the perfection with just a little less passion than the BMW. Bottom line...you buy the BMW with your heart...the Lexus with your head.

When looking for a new car I test drove the Volvo S60, which was comparable in price, the Toyota Camry and the Nissan Altima and hands down 2008 Lexus IS 250 is a far superior car. It handles beautifully and responds quickly and smoothly. This is my first Lexus after having driven SUVs but it will not be my last. Among the many perks, it's great on gas and nowadays that is a top priority. I recommend it highly!

This car is great! i've had it for 3 and a half weeks now and I still have alota gas! and i go everywherre! The AC is great the silky feeling of the seats is to die for and the over all look of the car is head turning! I bought mine in Houston for a GREAT price! i love my new IS.

Lexus is gaining a lot of new customers with this entry-level vehicle. When you compare this car with all the other vehicles in its class, this car is a hands down best value. The only con is the lack of room for the back seat passengers.

I've owned my 2008 IS 250 for about six weeks now and can honestly say I LOVE everything about it! The leather seats are unlike any other company's leather seats--true comfort and luxury. I love the feel of the all-leather steering wheel--unmatched to any cars in its class. And the factory audio system is incredible--it sounds so great that I can't imagine what the Mark Levinson package sounds like. Now that the weather is warming up I'm getting 30 mpg compared to 27 in winter. Needless to say, I am very satisfied with my Lex so far and it will be hard to go back to driving anything else.
