2008 Lexus LS 460 consumer reviews

I have been driving the LS for over 10 Years. The car itself is a dream to drive and even though I never owned one I will in near future. Power luxury and reliability all in one beautiful package. I would give it a 5 star for Interior except I have noticed some minor issues over the long term with how well the interior holds up to hard use. For example the sticky door issue on the 2007-2012 models. One suggestion I would make is that Lexus does more extreme temperature testing especially as the temperature exceeds 110 degrees Fahrenheit. The true jewel is that I could purchase a 10-year-old Lexus and it had all the modern technology of a 2017 automobile.

I have driven BMWs for the past 15 years. 2 months ago I decided to ditch the repair costs and purchase my first Lexus. I got it used from a local car dealership and I have been impressed so far. Unlike the BMW, the throttle response is not at quick but with this smoothy and powerful ride, I don't really miss it. The interior is plush and inviting. I can't wait to take on a long drive. I actually find myself looking for excuses to pile all 6 of us into the Lexus rather than driving my SUV around town. I am very impressed with this vehicle - the value, the size, the price and the reliability made it easy to get rid of my 2003 BMW 5 Series.

They dont come any better than the LS. Supreme handling, soft and quiet ride; beautiful fit and finish.

I've been waiting to get my hands on one of these for a long time. I've owned several Lexus LS 400's in the past and you can't beat the ride. I just sold a 2000 LS 400 with 214,k on it to purchase my LS 460. Me and my wife take trips in it every Sunday. What a comfortable, roomy ride. You won't go wrong with this vehicle.

This 2008 Lexus LS460 is all that you want in a car. Highly reliable and with high road stability, it makes driving a joy again. I choose the 2008 LS460 over a 2009 BMW 750Li due to mechanical reliability and recommendations from other BMW owners. Just be sure to watch the speed limits carefully, this car has deceptive power when needed. I am so happy with my purchase of the Lexus LS 460. Its a really great car and driving is fun again.

I have driven or owned Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Acura, Infiniti, Cadillac, Lincolns, Chrysler, Ford, etc. and no other car compares to the Lexus LS series specifically the LS 460 for luxury, smooth ride, reliability and comfort not to mention gas mileage considering the size of the car.

I bought this 2008 Lexus LS 460 without driving it as I was that confident that it would deliver all it promises. I had to drive 500 miles to buy it from a dealer in Ohio because I couldn't find the color anywhere else that I wanted. This car is unbelievable! Smooth as silk ride, super quiet, beautiful fit and finish and incredible gas mileage for a V8. I get 24 in town and 29 on the highway which I never expected. I am sold from now on.

This is an excellent car. I am very impressed with its performance and comfort features. I do not think that I could have gotten a better deal for the money.

Absolutely the best! This is our 3rd Lexus-- had LS430's in the past. Bumped up to the LS460. Have also had Cadillacs, Lincolns, and Audi-- no comparison! Best ride, style, luxury, like floating on the air while driving!! Our last Lexus has over 200,000 miles-- nothing has gone wrong!! Great engines!!
