No more Lexus

Lexus cut corners on this one. For what you pay you get a bad sound system, floor mats are paper tin. Nav hard to use. Tire pressure sensors does not work properly. I would look else where for SUV. Lexus is no longer what it used to be. I used to own 99 model and I loved it, beautiful sound system. Very solid car. But not this one, I have few friends who have also purchases New Lexus (RX 350 & LS460L) they too are unhappy with their new car. Don?t waste your money.

Again tire problems

'08 RX350 has 22k miles(in 11 mos)--tires rotated per schedule--rear tires starting abnormal wear--they were fine 3,800 miles ago when rotated.Same two drivers and roads as'06. Tires on '06RX330(Goodyear) were shot @ 29k.Goodyear rep says this tire life is considered normal. Tires this time are Michelins. @ $225 ea. plus alignment this is getting pricey! Oh,the same squeeks and rattles are still with me in the '08 as were in the '06. Fool me once etc. etc. Bye Bye Lexus!!

Weirdest Car I've Ever Owned.

Along With This Car I Have A BMW X3, The BMW Seems To Be The Better Performance SUV While The Lexus People Say Has Great Styling, I Think It Is One Of The Ugliest SUV's Out There. The Interior Feels Outdated As It Looks Almost Identical To The Previous Model, The Navigation System Is Difficult To Use, You Have To Stop To Use It (Like In The Toyota Pruis). Also If You Get It Doesn't Have iPod Connectivity Standard Like In The Honda Element Or BMW's. The Maintenance Is Very Expensive Compared To BMW or Acura. So Decide If You Want The Car Thats All Over The Place Or If You Want To Stand Out From The Pack.

Posh is the Word

The Lexus RX 350 is simply the most luxurious of all SUVs in it's class. We are on our third one and, after shopping BMW, Infinity, and Acura for a luxury SUV, we keep coming back to the Lexus for the smoothness of ride and the feel of luxury you get in it's interior. It doesn't handle quite as well as the BMW but the ride is a bit softer, which we like. 0-60 acceleration for the 2009 model is listed at 7.3 seconds which I think is pretty good for this type of vehicle. The Porsche is faster and the infinity may be a bit faster too but, the Porsche is much more expensive and the infinity FX35 has a harsher ride. The interior, although well done, is not up to Lexus standards as far as quality of materials used. I like the size of the Lexus too. It's just right as a long distance cruiser but has the needed utility capability. Lexus reliability, resale value and customer service is the best I've found . This is one "posh" sport ute

Not for tall people

My wife is 5'4" and I'm 6'3". Car is perfect for her, but doesn't fit tall people at all. For example, with the driver's seat all the way back, I can't reach the side mirror adjuster switches on the dash. Also, my right leg rubs against the center console- very painful on a long trip. Needs premium gas and mpg in always below 20. Wife loves it; give me a full size Chevy any day.

Horrible traction in bad weather

Lexus is a good car brand but they didn't do so good on this one. The gas millage is moderately good for an suv, the acceleration is ok and it does have a comfortable ride but the traction is horrible in bad weather. Also, there is alot of wind noise at highway speeds. I also don't care for the look of the interior. Its not a bad car its just not worth near what it costs, there are some better alternatives for a lower price. If i were you, i would recommend look elsewhere.

Overpriced underperformer

I'm sorry I gave up my Chev trailblazer for this thing. I bought too soon. A longer test drive might have revealed lots of wind and road noise, numerous rattles, and really imprecise handling. You can't relax in the thing for a minute or its all over the road. I had wheel shimmy over 120 kph. The options are OK except for the voice command. It really doesn't recognize anything...especially at speed on the highway. The noise in the cabin seems to overwhelm it. All in all give this one a skip!
