Affordable luxury. Nice car nice price!

I live in the northwest, and why would you not want a hard top convertible? It is the perfect combo for our weather. You can even take it through an auto wash. Bonus!!

Fun, luxury and reliability!

Love to drive this car with top up or down! Luxurious interior with great sound system. Plenty of room in the trunk for luggage or groceries. Only complaints are ugly factory wheels (which can easily be charged for a much better look) and poor side/rear visibility with the top up.

Fun Vehicle

I have had this car since 2013. I primarily use this as a weekend/fun car. It is very reliable and trouble free. Love having the hardtop convertible for the spring, summer, and fall months. Powerful V8 engine, great sound system, and timeless style. Unique looks make this vehicle very special. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fun flagship convertible offered by Lexus.

Cant beat it for looks

A little History: In contrast with the previous generation model, the redesigned Lexus SC was intended as a convertible from its inception.[24] The development team was led by chief engineer Yasushi Nakagawa from 1996 to 2000. Lexus designers from Europe and Japan worked together to create a streamlined design. A design theme was chosen in 1997 developed by Sotiris Kovos, who in return was named chief designer. Led by Kovos, designers traveled to the Cote d'Azur to develop the vehicle's exterior shape, and studied the region's architecture, lifestyle, and harbors.[22] The resulting convertible of 1998 received character lines similar to the region's yachts, in contrast with traditional waveform lines.[25] The vehicle's side profile, the product of extensive wind tunnel testing, was intended to channel air around the passenger compartment at high speed during top-down driving. Design patents were filed in Japan, at the Japan Patent Office on 14 June 1999 under patent number 1095312.[25] great leisure car, this is the second one Ive had and find them to be reliable and get lots of compliments. MPG is a bit of a bummer, but its built in estimators seem pretty accurate. the 06 upgraded the head and tail lamps, and has handsfree calling (not bluetooth music streaming though).

Marvellous vehicle in ALL respects.

I have owned a 2006 SC model since the end of 2012, and cannot fault it in any way. It's rare to see on UK roads, in performance is as smooth as butter, and even sports cars that can out perform this vehicle, will still have it annoyingly in its rear view mirror. It is sophisticated in its unassuming way having a clever convertible drop top. I'm sick and tired of those idiots that cannot see and appreciate this car that WILL become a classic with rising values in the future. I know this as a fact as the owner of many a valuable classic car.

Amazing hand made automobile. Buy one .

Nostalgic and amazing. I am a musician and the sound system in this car is like being in the recording studio. The quietest car I have ever driven in with the top up. With the top down you can have a conversation and no hair blow. In addition for golfers. If you keep the top up, which you usually will on sunny day driving to the golf course, you can fit two bags plus in the trunk of your car. Amazing power when you downshift to the third gear and hop on the highway. For any of you who feel it is hard when you hit bumps get rid of the runflat tires and buy Toyo tires. If you are in the mountains hills or even around town push the Excelerato power button and it has a entire different set of gears that move you around very quickly. I get them set up all the time and it is a very safe car. Cheers, Rick
