Most excellent car...ever...for me.

When the Mark VIII came out, I wanted one. I was fresh out of the Military. My friend had a 93, and he let me drive it, I was hooked, just couldn't afford it. I finally had the opportunity to get one...at age 61, a 98. This car will be in my will, it's going nowhere. I Love This Car.

coolest car I have ever owned!

98 Lincoln Mark Viii LSC! 1998 was the last year the Mark VIII was made and was the last year Lincoln ever made a hot rod! That was just one of the reasons I wanted this car! It turns heads everywhere I go due to its timeless design and not really any others on the road today. I had plans to keep it forever but unfortunately life got in the way so I have to part ways... I have upgraded the air ride suspension with Strutmasters spring conversion kit. only ever use synthetic oil and premium gas... It is my daily driver! There is no rust only a few small dents and some scratches. The only wear to the black leather is on the driver seat, which is not bad at all. Both power seat motors work when they want to as does the telescopic steering wheel controls. The back seats are still pretty much brand new! Non smoker car so no bad smell! Going to need 2 front tires soon due to needing the alignment done, both back tires are fine. Window tint is good and at legal limit for florida. Only mechanical issue is the left rear ABS sensor needing to be replaced, I unfortunately am having a hard time tracking one down. My loss could be your gain! Did I mention it has the same motor as the Ford Cobra that year?!

300 HP BARCALOUNGER!

I finally traded my 1998 MKVIII LSC after 290,000 miles and a month later wanted it back! The engine/tranny/driveline was perfect (qt of oil every 6,000 miles!) and running as strong as new. I did replace the air shocks with coils, replaced the blend door and door handles & 1 headlight but I never had a car that could eat miles like this one. Every option, and it just anticipated your every need without being a technonightmare. I installed a Superchip without governor and it would honestly do over 130 mph. Once you get past 3000 rpms and the second intake runners open, it revs very quickly. And the ride is much more comfortable than the Corvette which preceded it.
