2018 Mazda CX-5 consumer reviews

This car has everything I wanted all in one and the style and color is a plus. I love the way it drives and how I feel more safe driving it.

Our CX-5 is great! We have received numerous compliments. It's our first new car in over 10 years and we absolutely love it! Great design, comfort, handles well on surface streets and off road, and lots of cargo space without feeling like a soccer mom suv.

We drove them all. Nissan Rogue: poor acceleration and touchy lane assist; Toyota Rav4: just cheap materials, thin plastics inside and difficult to reach lower dash components; Volvo XC60: died on the highway road test leaving us stranded otherwise nice; CRV: ehh; Subaru: OK but no styling. Mazda CX-5: awesome. Great acceleration and handling, intuitive navigation and command center, beautiful styling, and the safety features respond to everyday driving better than the others.

Having worked and driven luxury vehicles for over 20 years, I was very skeptical when I decided to lease a different vehicle. From the first test drive, I liked the way the Mazda CX-5 drove. The steering was very tight and the ride was very smooth. Some of the features that I currently have on this vehicle were not in my previous vehicle.

This is the best overall compact SUV in my opinion. It offers unmatched luxurious interior, styling and ride quality in it's class. It offers a big list of features and advanced technology as well. Fuel economy leaves room for improvement.

This car met my needs. I wanted awd. Room to haul what I need for yard , home and travel. Comfort and style, and economy.

This car has great styling and has plenty of room to meet all our needs. The tech and safety features are great as well! I would definitely recommend this car to my friends.

I purchased my 2018 Mazda CX-5 GS to replace a 2010 Nissan Rogue. As I already owned a Mazda 3, I thought it would be a good purchase. Overall I like the car but I hate the tires that Mazda has chosen. The car comes with what I am told is an all weather tire which is really a snow tire hybrid. Very, very noisy on the road as you would expect a snow tire to be. I am very disappointed in Mazda not being up front and informing potential buyers as to exactly what type of tire is being supplied with their new vehicle. These tires are so noisy that on a very uneven road, you cannot even hear the radio. When you try and drown out the road noise by turning the radio up, the road noise is amplified. If I had known that this particular tire was installed on my new Mazda CX-5 GS, I would not have bought this vehicle.
