Mazda 3, most fun and style for the money
I just want to say that I have owned a mazda 3 hatchback for over 2 years and it has been on of the best and most fun to drive car I've owned, the only one that was slightly better than this was a BMW 3 series that I used to own, however the Mazda has been just as fun and more versatile than the BMW. I love the hatchback, it looks great, and you can fit anything you want in there, and if you put both back seat down, you can load staff that you could never fit in a regular car. Great handling, fun, and economic. Even when I set on it a little more, I still average 24 mpg, normally I get 26mpg city mix driving. Hwy easilly 28mpg at 70mph ! That is for a manual shift! Not sure what an automatic would do. So far, 33K miles, never a mechanically problem. Just change oil and go. But even before I bought this car, I friend that own one before told me I should would easelly make 100k miles without any problems... So far, so good! I recommend it to anyone that would like a good looking, fun to drive and realiable car, that it is easy on gas.

Great car for the price
I did research for almost two years on various cars. The car I had prior to purchasing a new one lasted 15 years, so reliability was very important to me. I studied cars.com for over a year, checking prices and comments about the Mazda 3. I purchased mine about two months ago and couldn't be happier. For the price, it is a great car. Has great features and the car handles well. Also good on gas mileage!

Good Car
I have had my 2008 Mazda 3 since Nov of 09. So far not too bad. Has sporty suspension so I feel everything when I hit pot hole/large bump. Mine does make a funny noise that is annoying but so far no problems. Mine also shakes when I hit 70 mph. I need to take it in for this. Gas mileage is good 50/50 city/hwy Winter: 26 mpg Spring 30+ mpg avg. I live in MN and didn't have any problems during the winter other than my battery did die once when it was -26 (w/out wind chill) and it sat outside overnight. If you are looking for speed etc I would go with the larger engine. I love the look but that all comes down to personal taste. It is a small car; I love it, however, if you often drive others it may be something to consider. Overall it fits all my needs: small, good gas mileage, fun to drive and cute. (hopefully reliable) One thing to add is a trunk release on the remote. I would reccommend but, I would also recommend driving it a few times before you decide just to make sure you like how it handles etc. I get lots of compliments on it!!! The 2010 looks even better if you can buy new!

My First Car
Mazda3 was my very first car that I have ever bought! Out of the billion of cars that I have driven in the past, I think this is got to be my most favorite one! It's sooo fun to drive! My friends even thought that it fit me perfectly by just looking at it! My bf wouldn't drive it at first because he said it wasn't a "manly" car but when I finally convinced him to drive it, he wants to drive it all the time now. It even has a feature where you can switch to a manual but without the clutch. I think the only thing it is missing is a GPS and that is why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5. Other than that, it is a GREAT and WONDERFUL car!

I sooo recommend this car
I looked at the elantra, carolla, civic, impreza, and the mazda came out on top. This is the first car I've bought, and I don't plan on buying my second car for a very long time. I wanted something reliable, new, and cheap, nothing fancy. I found a car that looked way cooler then I expected. I got the base model with manual windows, transmission, and locks. The interior and exterior are sporty enough to make one forget that the doors and windows of my model are not power. It is fun to drive. Solid on the road. Mom describes my car as "zippy" and wants one herself. My Mazda is everything I wanted. I named her Katana.

My first car
My first car is a Mazda3 and loving it, after my parents owning some trucks and big SUVs being in a Mazda3 was noisy and annoying, but it tunrs out that its a great car, reliable, comfortable, and fun. The only problem is that mine doesn't have any power lock, window, seat, mirror, which is always thumbs up, but I can survive. Love the car, great money.

Great Value for an Excellent Car
I've had my 2008 Mazda3 for about a yr and half now (bought it in Nov 07). I have about 12000 miles on it. Here's my experience so far: Good: Turning radius, acceleration, exterior/interior design, mp3 hookup, decent mileage (i accelerate and break hard, and i still get about 26 mpg; on a crosscountry trip, i got close to 40 mpg) Bad: Had to replace my tires at just over 11,000 miles (this really surprised me, considering the new tires i bought is suppose to be replaced at about 80,000 miles), no trunk release on key fob, and some noise at high speeds (over 60). When i bought my car, I had just come back from a tour overseas and didn't know about the 0% financing offered by Mazda, the dealership didn't say a word. I found out that night when I saw a Mazda commercial. This really made me angry. Overall, the car is a fun car to drive and a good choice if you can get over the bad.
