Got this car to give my truck a much needed break

Being over 6 foot tall and buying this car to supplement putting miles on my Nissan Titan, I was worried about finding a car with enough headroom and performance prowess to not feel like a huge downgrade from a full size truck with a V8 engine. There were 8 different compact cars on the market that I drove and the best three were the civic the Volkswagen Golf and the mazda. The mazda however is far easier to find cheap compared to the civic and especially the Volkswagen whose prices compare closer to midsize sedans. One of the few cars that hasn't switched over to a CVT over a traditional automatic transmission and I hope they never do, especially considering this car posts better fuel mileage than corollas or sentras which are each equipped with CVT's (continuously variable transmissions). Fantastic car so far just hope it's as reliable as my truck but 328K miles will be hard to match lol.

Very Reliable

Great fuel efficient vehicle and hatchback has lots of space. Performance is as expected for a small 4-cyl engine but is still fairly quick. Bluetooth integration and backup camera work great, no issues after 10k miles of driving.

Test drove a Mazda3 hatchback

I loved the style and handling of this car. I own a SUV, I was nervous about the space I'm loosing, this car has the room I need. Plus the gas money I'll be saving will pay for half the car. Needles to say I'll be buying one in the next week or two when I have the freakin time to go get it!

Love it!

I love this car. I bought it, I didn't think I would like it as much as I do. It has small features that make it stand out. It has a big trunk, keyless ignition, automatic windshield wipers, video reverse, safety sensors and amazing gas mileage. My ONLY complaint would be that the interior is slightly unattractive. The seats are a cheap looking black fabric, but on the bright side they look as though they are easy to clean. The car drives very smoothly, not jerkily starting and stopping.

Fun to drive!

I love this car, It looks great, drives great, is comfortable, reliable. The piano black plastic is easy to scratch, and I would like a little more color in the interior its a little too much black on black for my liking.

Solid, dependable, great looking for the money!

I purchased my Mazda 3 October 2015. I loved the style when I first saw it. The interior was somewhat generic but nice. Standard backup camera is something that I've grown accustomed to and this for the bill. Plenty of pep for the city. Great looking car and excellent value. I haven't had any problems with mine and would definitely purchase again!

My First Car is Everything & More!

My car salesman, Richard Washington is such an awesome guy! He found me something within my budget. His hospitality was kind and straight forward. I felt so comfortable talking to him. This vehicle is fully loaded, and comes with many safety features. This car comes with all features that Mazda has to offer! I love the engine, sun roof, the mileage, in car entertainment, hands free entry options, post collision safety system, the heated seats, the interior, and the fact that it's 100% Mazda certified!

Don't buy this car

I bought a brand new 2016 Mazda 3. My previous car was a 2012 Nissan Altima. The Mazda is awfully loud inside the cabin. When I told this to the Mazda dealer they said o well Mazda is working on it to reduce noise. Also, the power brake is essentially non existing. You have exert for leg really hard to stop this car or keep it stopped at a red light for example. Definitely don't buy this car. Compared to my Altima, it is horse wagon!
