Everything I was hoping for
I research quite a bit before buying my Mazda6 GT and couldn't be happier with it. It's been three years and I love it just as much as the day I bought. I continue getting compliments on it and the red certainly doesn't hurt. It's very peppy and responds well to braking, excellerating and taking corners quickly. The manual mode is awesome, too. I have two kids (one car seat and one booster) yet my 6'3 tall husband is still comfortable when driving. For the money, this car is the best in its class...literally!

Cost Effective & Fun To Drive Sedan
I spent several weeks researching and test driving to make sure I purchased the right car. After driving a company-provided vehicle for the last several years (all Dodge fleet vehicles) I was excited about the opportunity to select a vehicle for myself. And I wasn't limited by anything! I could choose any manufacturer and any vehicle! That being said, I knew I wanted a sedan. This was going to be my primary daily driver for the foreseeable, so a few things were important to me - exterior styling, fuel efficiency, features to price ratio, longevity, reliability, and comfort/interior styling. Since my dad has always been a GM guy, I kept them in the running with some sedans like the Malibu and the Impala, but only the newest models appealed to me. Those were out of my price range. A few models came into focus that were in my price range and met some or all of my criteria - Honda Accord, Mazda 6, VW Passat, Nissan Maxima, and Toyota Camry. I wanted to consider the Subaru Outback too, but the newer models with nicer trim levels were also just too expensive for me. In the end, the Mazda 6 rose above the rest, especially when I considered the features/price ratio. The Grand Touring model of the Mazda 6 is outfitted very nicely for a great price; this is what separated the Mazda 6 from the Honda Accord. I have no regrets about my choice. It is a very fun vehicle to drive, has provided 27 MPG in daily commute driving, and allowed for enough room for my wife and son (carseat) to sit comfortably in the back. While I wish that the car itself were slightly larger, that is sacrificed a bit for the aggressively styled exterior. I'm very happy with my purchase, and would highly recommend the Mazda 6 to anyone looking for a daily driving sedan that has the feel of a sportier coupe.

Fast and Furious!
I researched this car for several months before opting on this over the Nissan Altima, the Toyota Camry, and the Honda Civic. The customer reviews were pretty consistently good (for all three vehicles), but at the end of the day - the Mazda 6 stands superior in looks and responsiveness. When I'm on the open highway, the SkyActive technology allows for increased acceleration from 80-100 mph, as if it were starting from zero. When I'm weaving in and out of traffic, it is comforting to know that I can make a turn that most cars shouldn't attempt. And when traffic slows to a halt, the Kota design looks and feels like a lion ready to lurch forward on its prey... The sheer testosterone of this vehicle feels like the transformation of Bill Bixby to the Incredible Hulk. If only they added the color option to green. Or even better... maybe Mazda can patent a paint that evolves with acceleration, from black to green at 60 mph.

Great car
I have a smart phone and a smart TV. They both look stupid compared to this car. Very comfortable to drive. It's not a Hellcat but it has some giddy up.

In love with this car
This was my first car and my sister had an older model that I used to love to drive and when I realized this was the new style I fell in love. I searched everywhere for a grand touring and finally found one . I wouldn't trade this car for any other it rides great and has so much more space than the older model. Has all the new technology which I love and th BSM is a big help .

2014 Mazda 6 Touring with Bose audio
Bought the car new in 2014. Has about 37K miles on odometer. The car still a thrill on daily commuting. The tires noise is getting louder with less tread. Going to replace the OEM Dunlop with the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 soon. Interior noise is generally acceptable, not as quiet as 2013 Accord which my wife drive. The steering feedback is superior to Accord and the 6 speed auto is much more fun than the CVT in the Accord. Interior fit and finish still hold up well, no rattle or shake. The Bose audio is a nice upgrade to drown out tire noises. Average MPG is about 31 with 50:50 highway/street driving. On long trip, the Mazda 6 can get up to 35 MPG.

Great Car
Okay......I might be a bit biased, as this is my 5th Mazda. I still have a 2000 MPV van with 227,000 miles on it. I was rear-ended in my last Mazda6 at 154,000 miles, and it would be going strong if not for that. So, let's just say that Mazdas will go forever with proper maintenance and oil changes. I don't think anyone needs convincing that the exterior styling is gorgeous. The interior is well laid out, and has another Mazda trait - wonderful front bucket seats. There are a few small things I'd change. For example, the rotary knob for selecting radio and phone settings is just in front of the cup holders. So, when you have a cup in there, it blocks easy access. Also, it seems like they could have had better cubbies in the doors. There's only one, and it will hold maybe a bottle of water. This car is not a drag racer by any means, but it has probably the most neutral handling front driver out there. You can blast into corners and it will stay planted. Really, really fun. And, so far I'm averaging 28 mpg city and 32 highway. I bought the Grand Touring version (used), and it is awesome. The BOSE stereo is killer, and the leather looks like it came straight from a Jaguar. So, if you want style, fun in the corners (as opposed to straight line), luxury, and fuel economy, this is the car you can own for 300,000 miles.

Amazing car. Especially for the price
I bought a 2014 Mazda Touring and I've had it a little over 5 months now. I love this car. I'm coming from a Honda Accord and I would take this anyway. The styling inside and out is great. Brake feel isn't as sensitive as I would like and the Bluetooth takes a few seconds to connect but other than that, the cars performance out weights most. I would defiantly recommend.
