GLB 250 is a dream!

We purchased it on January 2nd. We were waiting as it came off the truck, as it could not be found anywhere in So Cal. I love driving the GLB. It handles extremely well and is responsive. Roomy and sporty. Does not feel like your grandmother’s Mercedes. The screen and technology are amazing. We got all the bells and whistles, so just a dream car. The trunk can be lowered for additional space, major bonus. The dealer and service are wonderful to work with. Great job MB of Anaheim!

A 1st model rife with flaws

Major mechanical flaws and some noise and cosmetic flaws. Getting close to the lemon law. 4K miles and in the shop 4 times already! I live in the Sonoran desert and the a/c broke within the first 3500 miles. The fix from Germany was apparently to lower the amount of Freon, but now with a temp coming off of the pavement over 113F the a/c runs cool at best. The SRS system has broken twice now forcing It back into service. Both front driver and passenger windows have a moderately loud wind leak which exists on all GLB’s. The interior A post coverings are nowhere flush like they are on other Mercedes models. Very noticeable and awkward looking to say the least.

MBUX screen died on second day of ownership

The MBUX screen went blank the day after I bought the vehicle. Speedometer, fuel levels, etc won’t display so vehicle is not drivable. So now my new car sits at the dealership.... This is my first Mercedes and I am not impressed. I gave it one star overall because it really doesn’t matter if it’s pretty or comfortable if it’s not driveable!!

Don’t park near a tree

Beware that parking your GLB 250 near a tree can result in leaves getting sucked into the fan motor causing out of warranty failure. It happened to me though the service department, after scolding me for parking outside near a tree, waived the repair fee mainly because the car had Only 1,000 miles on it. I’m sure most Mercedes owners have a garage but if you do need to park outside you will need to get a car cover or make sure aren’t near trees. Watch for a recall on this vehicle. I cannot be the only person that has had this ridiculous problem.

Couldn't be more pleased!

Mercedes mailed it with this new SUV! We've owned new the 2020 GLB for a little while now and as happy as we were the day we purchased it, we are even happier now. It is deceivingly spacious on the interior so don't be fooled by the small appearance from the outside. The craftsmanship is amazing, handling is more impressive than I can explain here, and the technology is unbelievable. Mercedes did a fine job incorporating the newest technology in a user friendly way that doesn't confuse the driver while putting Artificial Intelligence at your finger tips or voice commands! I can change the interior temperature, check range of fuel remaining, open the panoramic sunroof, or check the stock market all by voice without taking my eyes or attention off the road. We looked at the Volvo XC class, Infinity QC, Lexus RH, Porsche Cayenne, Audi Q class,, and even other Mercedes models and stopped our search when we came across the GLB 250! We opted for the lay flat 3rd row for those "just in case" times and love that we have it as if/when needed. We simply lay it flat when not in use and have the same cargo room as a middle row only GLB but can haul 7 when needed. Like nearly all other 7 seat SUVs, there is little storage behind the 3rd row when in use but considering how infrequently we use it, it's a non- factor for us and simply a bonus when needed! The 3rd row is absolutely sufficient for day to day commuting with children back there as well. Hope this review makes your car hunting easier!

problem puttng gas in the tank

I have a brand new glb 250. I'm a member of Costco. I tried to put my first tank of gas in the car...needed help from an attendant. The nozzle wouldn't go in the tank. She got it to work, somehow. I tried to put gas in again yesterday. Nozzle wouldn't go into the tank. Went to a Shell station. Nozzle won't go into the tank. Will call my dealer (MB of Ownings Mills) on Monday. NOT HAPPY

Disappointed!!

We bought my GLB 250 March 26,2020. Tomorrow would be the 3rd time bringing it to mercedes greenway, SRS always malfunctions. Very inconvenient. First we brought it to clearlake, the next day said t’was ready. After 2days SRS malfunctioned again. Now we drove it & there it was again! Never ending SRS problem!! They said we cannot return it back! Sucks!!!
