Very Happy - It was this vs BMW X-3

I owned a 2014 BMW X-3 and frankly went to buy a 2018 X-3. But when I added up what I needed (all the safety features a retiree should have) that must run through their NAV that I did not want and the leather which I needed because their Tex leather is terrible, it was a no-brainer. I paid over $5000 less for this car - The interior of this car is absolutely beautiful and their leather tex is first class. We have had 4 Mercedes and never felt the need to buy leather. So this car rides so much better than my 2014 BMW X-3. It is a much smoother ride, the cabin is very quiet and it has far, far better braking performance. I am a retiree and for me, there is plenty of power and the gas mileage is very good..Much better than my 2014 X-3. I really like this car and it is priced really well.

The 2018 MBZ GLC300

Nice riding car but could use a little more comfortable drivers seat. Also would rather have a touch screen. Performance is much better than you would expect from a four cylinder engine. Handling is great and overall comfort is pretty good except the drivers seat on long trips. I drive 600 miles to FL every other month and would like a more supportive and comfortable seat. Other than that, the car is great.

Great Choice for Me

I traded in my Lexus hardtop convertible for this SUV. Wanted a vehicle that was safer, had better driver visibility, was luxurious, and was not too complicated for me to learn about. I have loved every trip so far. It is so quiet - one of my friends asked, "How do you know it is running?" As for the controls -- I try to learn one new thing about the instruments each time I drive (unless I am in a hurry). This mid size is perfect for me. I also own a Navigator. It is just too big for most of my running around. I am a happy owner.

Best driving car I?ve owned

Absolutely love everything about this car!! Especially the heated steering wheel! It is very comfortable and has a very smooth drive for an SUV. Had a Toyota Sequoia i loved but driving this is much more comfortable!

I think I'm in love

I upgraded from a C300 sedan to the GLC300. It's an amazing car. It has all the bells and whistles and is an absolute pleasure to drive. The sound system is top notch. Love that I can start my car using my phone!!! And the heated steering wheel! And you can open and start your car with the key in your purse or pocket.

Takes my breath away every time I drive it!

I've owned my GLC300 for 1 month and I continue to discover new amazing things about it! The attention to detail in the styling first caught my eye. The acceleration, when you need it drew me to the engineering. It's a 4 cylinder 9 speed! That equates to excellent gas mileage. The over the top safety features are a huge plus. I can't forget about the technology on board my new baby! I'm so HAPPY!

More reasonable than the BMW X-3

Was this my first choice? No, it was not. I had a 2014 BMW X-3. When I went to replace it, with the safety features I needed (blind spot - cameras, etc) I would have had to take several other Premium Packages including NAv, heated seats and heated Steering Wheel - I live in Florida! My GLC300, equipped with the safety features I needed was over $8000 less money. I'm sorry but based on the independent reviews, the fact that this Mercedes was voted Car of the Year in 2017..I could not justify the more expensive X-3.
