Dissatisfied
No problems for first 4 years. Got “brake assist” error one day and dealer could not fixed. This is a very dangerous error as the car suddenly stops accelerating (no matter what is your speed). Took the car to dealer shop 7 times! Finally the dealer bought me back the car. Too bad because it is a beautiful car, but totally unreliable.

Buyers be aware
It’s an amazing suv! Comfortable, drives well. It has all the features you could possibly want. Now for the bad…things are constantly breaking down…parts and labour are very expensive. Unfortunately I will sell mine not worth it!

Everything was great until.....
A month ago I was driving my 2018 GLC Coupe when the engine started to idle rough. Took it to the dealership and they informed me I needed a new engine! At 16,000 miles! They replaced the engine, but I’m not too comfortable knowing that I could have an issues down the road. I did talk corporate to give me an extended warranty which they did for 2 years

Great ride and performance, but dated technology
I chose this car over a BMW X3 due to the superior ride and performance. I've owned it for almost 4 years now and still like it - and plan on driving it until it drops - but there are a few items that would have kept me from purchasing this car if I would have only known them then. Unfortunately, I didn't spend enough time looking at the technology before I made my final decision. The tech system on the 2018 is awful - no touch screen, dated user interface, no apple car play, no audio interface, bluetooth flaky, terrible menu system. I've seen the updated version on loaners, but the technology in my wife's 2017 BMW X1 is still better. And one thing I didn't even consider - even though the hardware is in place, there is no parking distance sensor capability unless the top end car is purchased. Really? That's ridiculous for a Mercedes - I can get it standard on every Kia. I haven't been too impressed with the reliability, either. The brakes had to be replaced at 10k miles, the entire fuel tank and pump after 15k miles, and a few other smaller glitches. All under warranty, but still a little surprising and not what I was expecting when I purchased my first (and likely last) MB. Nice car, but I'd have a serious look at a BMW or one of the ten other luxury SUV choices in this price range before going with a GLC 300.

Love this car
I transport about 250 rescued cats and dogs a year, and this SUV has plenty of room for all the crates and people. It’s so comfortable — the heated seats don’t get too hot and all the controls are easily accessible. The extra cup holders/bins on the doors add a lot of storage. It’s peppy and fun to drive. Plus, it’s silver and doesn’t show dirt. I highly recommend this car. It’s my ninth Mercedes.

Best car I have owned. Well balanced all around
Great car. Excellent performance with great mileage. Have owned 3 years with zero problems. I always drive in sport mode without start-stop. Test other driving modes but sport gives best drive with no loss of fuel economy. Replace run-flat tires with non-run flat. Huge improvement in ride quality and handling. Bought a compact spare that fit neatly in the compartment under the cargo area.
