luxury car look sport's car performance
I've had my 3.5 SL for about three months and I have really enjoyed it so far. It has awesome power, and it is fun to drive, and it is very comfortable driving down the road. The eight speaker BOSE sound system is the best I have ever heard, it really sounds good. The exterior is beautiful, and the interior, with the heated leather seats, looks like a luxury car. I bought it used, and I would recommend it to anyone.

Excellent auto
I bought car used and in a year and a half I put an air filter in it. I hope I keep having this luck for a long time. Nice handling, roomy, adequate power for the engine size (2.5S), sharp looking car and the price was very affordable. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone.

nice car
I wanted good reliable transportation. The styling and reliability history of this car was an important factor in this purchase. I do not purchase a vehicle often so I wanted a car for trouble free transportation.

2005 Altima SER
Bought '05 in Jan "10 with 33,500 mi. Loaded every opt avail incl trac control side curtain air bags. Paid $14,500. Car has surprising level of quality. Not one rattle or gap of any kind. Bose stereo is very good for stock radio (no mp3 though). Rides like brothers BMW 330i, but faster. Looks great with black on black and 18in wheels. Backseat room is limo like. Heated leather seats a godsend in northeast winters. Not good in snow. Exhaust sound is refined yet sporty. HID headlights are great. Good gas mileage for v6 power. Did I mention power---there is plenty of that. Power is smooth in delivery, meaning you are not really sure how fast you are going until you look at speedo. Overall best value I have ever in my 20+ cars owned. Previous vehicle was 2002 sentra ser. Went from economy car to luxury. Had very few problems with previous nissan, expect same with Altima SER.

Pearl white SL V6
I cannot begin to tell you how much i miss this car. I owned my 06' Altima V6 SL for about a year. Before that I owned a Taurus and I currently own a Mazda 3. When I bought this car, i was making enough money that i could afford it, but unfortunately I lost one of my jobs and was forced to trade it in. - Quality - some other reviewers talk about a cheap feeling interior.. i drive all kinds of vehicles for a living and i don't understand where people conceive this idea.. My Altima felt more luxurious and well-put-together than the BMW and Mercedes i drive at work. The dash is actually soft and padded and not even plastic. The doors are suede and leather.. There are no squeaks or rattles. I do recognize the quality concerns on the 02'-04' models however. - Ride/Performance - I had the V6, and i cannot express enough how much i miss that power, especially passing at highway speeds. When you step on the gas it's very predictable once you get used to it, and makes you very confident when your pulling out on a busy road. However, there was quite a bit of torque steer on fast accelerations. The ride was overall nice especially on smooth roads, but i personally would have liked for the suspension to absorb bumps better. - Styling/Appearance - I originally fell in love with the Altima after the 02' restyle. It is such a beautiful, sleek style. I had the pearl white paint which SO beautiful in the sun or at night in a lighted parking lot. I had a rear spoiler as well as side skirts. I also put an after market grille on mine which did not have the Nissan logo on it. I was repeatedly asked by strangers if it was some new Cadillac or BMW. - Comfort - The Bose system was simply astonishing, and this is what i miss most about this car. There is nothing like 8 BOSE speakers.. I also liked that the driver and pass. windows were Auto up and down. The xenon headlights lighted the road nice and even and were plenty bright, as well as beautiful. There was also a fuel econ. meter that was SO SO handy! - Fuel economy - All V6 Altima's require premium fuel, this is not a suggestion. This was a factor when i traded my Altima in. However looking back, the price for premium fuel was well worth it because at 62-64mph i consistently averaged 42mpg, yes 42mpg I couldn't get that with my Mazda 3 if i tried! And the MPG meter in the info cluster was very helpful during driving..

Have a love hate relationship, but mostly love it
As the title says, I have a few things I hate about the car and a few things I love, and overall, especially for it's class, I love the car. Love: The handling, decent feature set, decent driver seat, spirited 4 cyl engine, spacious, aged but nice exterior look, reliability so far (owned for 3+ yrs and going strong) Hate: Interior styling (the stereo LCD looks like it's from the 90s, I have the regular one, not Bose), Lack of more safety features like side impact airbags, ABS etc., somewhat noisy engine (but to be expected for a 4 cyl), somewhat awkward transmission from 1 to 2 at times..

I bought this car a little over a week ago and I love it. I never thought it was possible to love a car but I do. It is so fun to drive and handles wonderfully. I would buy another one.

LOVE IT
I have an '06 Altima SL and have loved driving it. It is very roomy, comfortable, and handles well in all kinds of weather. What I like about this car are all the compartments in the front for putting your CD's, phone, navigation system, drinks, Satelite radio box, etc. The console is very sharp looking. I got the leather heated seats and they are very comfortable. The back seat is roomy for those longer trips when I sit in the back with my son and my husband drives. I found the engine to be a bit loud but I would not complain about this. The pick up is good and the car has power. My Altima was leased and it is time to turn it in for an SUV. I have enjoyed driving it and do highly recommend it. I only have 36,000 miles on the car but haven't put any money into it except tires.
