Good Reliable Car
I have an 07 Altima 2.5SL with tech. package. The room and fuel economy is great. I am so surprised that you can have such good gas mileage, (about 33 mpg freeway) in such a roomy car. I payed a little more for all the options, so i got a fully-loaded 4-cylinder. It has great outside styling, looks really agressive. Drives smooth and comfortable, has good soft leather. What i dont like too much however, is the handling and especially, THE TOUCHY BRAKES! I mean, these brakes are really touchy its annoying. It still doesnt mean its a bad car, because its great. Certainly better than the 07 accord.

I want another one
My 2003 Altima has now 239560 miles! The only major repair has been a catalitic converter at 165000 miles. It is now eating 1QT of oil every 1000 miles, but does not smoke or leaks...where the oil goes...it is a mistery...other than that it has been a great car. Thanks to its awsome handling I'm alive! I want to buy another one, but not yet. I think I can squize another 50000 miles on it!

Ticking Noise
The motor has to be replaced after 18k miles. If you own this car make sure to check all of the recalls. If you don't own it, great! Don't buy one.

I would not buy again
My 2007 Altima is a good car overall but the V6 engine had a ticking noise in it from the factory!!After failed repairs and 24,000 miles it still has that noise. I drove a new V6 and it had no noise! Nissan acted like they could care less!! so off to buy another brand that will take care of US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great car for the price
Great car for the price. My last three cars were Altimas and they just keep getting better. Had a 1998, 2005, 2007, they were not fully loaded but they werent budget models either. Inexpensive cars that look great and perform well, they shine. Would recommend and I would buy one again.

Most comfortable car I've owned...
Great car. Handles really good, performance is excellent for a sedan, interior is awesome! Only thing I would change is the tail lights. Make em' all red, not a big fan of the tri color thing, but maybe the after market will come out with something. Overall great car. Get the V6.

Sporty yet simple comfortable car
Finally.. a true sports sedan. I had been looking for a 4 door car that wasn't classified as a 'family' sedan (eww). Even if I had kids, I would want something sporty yet comfortable and convenient. I really like this car - love the feel of the CVT and the power it has. The seats are so comfortable too, and the dash/control area has nice big simple buttons. I had compared this to the Honda Accord.. pretty car but those controls are awful.. there are many too many buttons all over the place. Altima looks cute from every angle, is up to date, comfortable, and flies.

I got my MPG !
I just recently traded my 2005 Murano for a new 2007 Altima. I got $5,000 off the MSRP because I got a new 2007 in 2008. I loved my Murano but hated the gas mileage - only 19.2 no matter how I drove. I also was tired of the whole SUV thing. 95% of the time I am the only one in my car - so I decided an SUV was a waste. Anyway - I LOVE my new Altima. I am already averaging almost 28 mpg (combined freeway and city) The keyless entry and push button start is a little weird but once you get used to it - it's great - no more fumbling for the keys - just keep the fob in your purse! The car handles great and I can merge quickly up on the freeway with no problem. Going from 245 hp V-6 to a 170 hp 4 cylinder - I thought would be a problem. But I am very impressed. I got the gorgeous red color with charcoal interior and even though it's a 4-door - it's still very stylish. My husband is 6 foot 2 inches and fits just fine in the drivers seat. There is plenty of leg room in the back and a large trunk for a relatively small car. The ride is comfy - and I can't wait to take it on a road trip. I think I will be able to squeeze out 30 mpg on a trip with the cruise control. I would recommend this car to anyone looking at Honda Accords or Toyota Camrys - Nissan should be considered too!

Most Trouble car i have ever owned
This car has been in the shop 6 times withing the 1st 6 months of purchase (new). Would not start after setting for 2 days, made noises when turning off the A/C, enternal antenna, automatic power window switch went bad, raddled when placed in gear, DVD player changed from color to black and white. This is the worse car i have ever owned. I have purchased 5 new vehicles in the last 3 years and might i say this was the worse. Maybe i got a lemon. DON'T BUY this vehicle.

This really is a great car!
I own a 2007 3.5SE Altima and I couln't be more pleased with it. The performance, style, features and smooth ride really make this a great car to own. Plus the push start/stop engine and button doors/trunk are awesome! I went from a V6 2003 mustang to this and was blown away. I've had my car for about 6 months so I can't really say it's reliable yet... I highly recommend this car to others.
