grat first car

OK so hated when my mom got this car. we lesed a 2005 nissan murano and loved it looked forward to drving it. But i did not get my licence in time and did not get to drive it. We downsized. I love this car now. I know it not a sports car but i has the looks . I love every feature. We have to 2.5 175 HP It perfect. I drive it to the limits. I love the pick up for a 4 cylinder. I love the room in the back seat. Although I fit back there very nice with room to spare i wish the ceiling was a little higher. My afro does not fit. I love that the heater starts up like nothing. in 2 minutes i have hot air. The headlights are very nice and level. i love the mpg's even though I feel I could get better. The out side is not as tough though. But I love it and mom says if i'm done with high school by the time the lease is up the car might I would be able to pay for the car. I hope this happends. It does reall well climbing mountais. We drove in the hill s tennesee and it did great. The hills were really steep too.

Love My Altima Coupe.

I just bought a 2009 Altima coupe and I love it. It handles very well and is quite comfortable. I was concerned about the 4 cylinder, but is quite peppy (174 hp). I am most amazed by the MPG. I drove to work today and achieved 39 MPG. Impressive! There are not too many 2 Door Altimas around so people always take a double take when I drive by.

Good Bang for Your Buck

I just picked up my 2009 Super Black Altima on Dec. 30,2009 and drove it all night, and might I say this ride is awesome! I have the 2.5S model. At first I thought that wouldn't be enough power for my daily commute; but indeed it is. With the year end deals I got a good price too. First Nissan I've ever owned, and am proud of it!

Good, but don't be fooled by fun to drive claims

I'd like to start off by saying that before this I had an 06 Altima, and that car was hideous on almost every level. This car is an enormous improvement over that one, but it's not the best car I currently own, but I think that for the money it is the best car in it's class. Steering has some feedback, but handling isn't a strong-suit. It does grip, however, but it needs more feedback to be a good handler. I hate the CVT. You have to rev the nuts off it to get anything out of it, and as a result I only manage 23 mpg as indicated by the trip computer. Also, the manual mode is more than pointless. Apart from the fact that its operation is counter-intuitive, its simulation of gear ratios isn't fooling anybody. If you're trying to decide between this and the Camry, get this. And, if you don't want to spend the extra money on the Accord (which I wish I did) then you'll probably be happy just the same. Just don't expect this to be a car lover's car, because it isn't.

Excellent Value

Absolutely love the 25SL. Heated leather seats are a must in Michigan and other cold states. Nissan's quality has taken a quantum leap forward and the Altima is head and shoulders above the competition. Nice ride, smooth acceleration, excellent handling.

Value for the money

Nice car definitely exceeded my expectations of what I have heard about Nissans. I did have a Toyota Camry before and surprisingly the Altima's fit and finish is much better than the Camry. I also see as Nissan's quality is going up Toyota's is going down. Suggested improvements for the car include a bigger backseat, adjustable rear head restraints for the backseat, better padded front seats, and make audio controls on the steering wheel standard.
