This is "My" Truck
I have always wanted a Truck of this caliber, I never thought about Nissan Trucks until I started to look into them just out of curiosity. I am very pleased with how this 07' Frontier SE 4x4 model is handling, the gas mileage is good enough for this size vehicle. I also had to think about the resale value when I try and sell it in about four years from now. I have not tried it in the snow or off road yet but I'm sure it will perform the way it is supposed to.

Very nice truck
I am a new owner so my opinion may not matter much. I traded my F-150 and this Frontier is fantastic. 07 LE LB CC V-6 4X4. Power to spare, very comfortable. Easy to look at and very fuctional. It feels like your driving something very substantial. So far the only thing that needs to be improved is the turning radious, you have to compensate for this shortcoming, U-turns are risky on busy streets until you know for sure the space required to turn.

I love This Truck
Gas mileage fair, but could be better. Turning radius not Great, but OK Center console compartment could be about 2-3 inches to the front and same higher. After oil change, dipstick shows oil level halfway between the two holes which misleads you to think oil is half qt low. Dealer says this is normal. Otherwise I love this truck.

tranmission & clutch nightmare
I bought this truck in January and have put about 10k on it and the clutch is shot. Before the clutch went out I was having trouble with the transmission grinding when I would shift. The dealer told me that it was "charicteristic" of my vehichle (4.0l six speed)to grind until about 15k. Now they have my truck and are trying to get me to give the "go ahead' so they can start spending my money to replace the burt out clutch that left me stranded on the highway.

Best Truck 4 da Buck
#1 - I can't really answer the "reliability" question with a straight face... The Thing's only got 4000 miles on it! Great truck so far. Yes it has an ABS system that tests itself at every startup and makes a "Clunk" when it "Test-Fires" but at least I know my ABS and SLIP are operational!!! The turning radius isn't what you might feel in a larger truck, but once you actually realize that the frontier is smaller than it feels, you will see how maneuverable you can be. Great Engine with plenty of power and good fuel economy(IF YOU LAYOFF THE GAS). Not so happy with the transmission so far! It will stay locked into gear when you let off the gas, but when reapply gas you get a little nudge in the butt if you don't have the O/D OFF. Feels kinda like they anticipated that the frontier drivers would always be on the gas or brake at any given time;) Also, know that the auto Tans is geared very high! Down hill at 45 mph in 1st gear 2WD So consider the Nismo w/ hill descent assist if you eventually plan to go crawlin when the warranty expires. So if you live in the hills, get a manual tranny. As for the exterior looks........... of the 5 mid-sized truck being produced in the US right now, there is only one truck that has body styling unlike its competitors.... and it ain't the Nissan Frontier(sorry to say) So for original exterior body styling I give the rating of AVERAGE just like 75% of its competition. But that's not why I bought this truck!!!!!! Great features available , reliable manufacturer history, Great performance and FUNCTION, and all at a price that can't be matched by the truck's only competitor that MIGHT have made a better vehicle this year. As for the rest of the competition, I won't even start. That's why I bought this truck and not another. So far I love this truck and it seems like a good investment. Let's just see if this one will last me 11 years or more. Also, When I purchased my truck a friend of mine was looking for a new truck himself. One week after we went dog training in my new truck, he had the same model (different color) sitting in his driveway. Just goes to show

Best Truck I have ever owned
Great truck!! I have owned everything from a Ford to a Toyota. The Nissan Frontier beats everything out there, plus you get a lot of truck for the money. Nissan really deals with you too.

I hate this truck!
It sounds like there are elves making popcorn under the truck. Dealer says it's normal so I test drive another. Nope, not normal. Dealer now says it's "unique" every truck is different. Has it's own personality. The truck is only a few months old and now my breaks are sqeeking. This is my 7th Nissan, 3rd Nissan truck. I guess it's safe to say it's my last Nissan. Never owned a Toyota. I'm going to get a Tacoma next and see what all the fuss is about. I'm really dissapointed in Nissan. Some other things I hate about this truck. 18 MPG? Try 13.86. It's hard to turn and park. Mine is sluggish and noisey. Value?? I paid 25K for the SE CC with some extra options. What a rip off! One thing I like about the truck and all Nissans is the styling. I love the way they look.

Great Midsize Truck
Overall Bang for the Buck,Frontier edges Tacoma out. Toy will run 2-3 K more for same equipment. Both pretty equal, but Frontier gets my vote for Value. Midsize much closer to Full then it is to old small compact truck.

Good Truck, Just a few flaws
I really like my 2007 Nissan Frontier. Just 2 flaws keep me from loving it. 1st, the tailgate is too heavy. Its heavier than a F-350 tailgate. My wife hates it. 2nd, It turns like a bus. Its amazing that Nissan engineers overlooked this. Now, what I like about it. It has a great highway ride, long trips are a breeze. The 4 cyl. engine matched with the 5 speed auto is really sweet. The bed liner is a good touch. It has a solid feel about it, a truck in every since of the word.

Bang for your Buck, can't beat it! Frontier
Best Midsize for the $$$$ going, Toy 3k more same equipt.! V6 feels like a small V8, Frontier gives alot for decent price. Toy/Tacoma living off the rep, Frontier right there with Toy & you save a bunch. I shopped & researched for year before I bought in April of 06. Can't beat Frontier for Value bottom line.
