Beautiful car to look at but not reliable at all

I actually love and hate it at the same time. The car is a beautiful car inside and out but what I hated about it, it gave me so much trouble and I spend so much money fixing it. Unfortunately I though nissan was a good brand but I had to find out the hard way once I own one and started to read reviews about it and it's sad to say a lot of people gave more bad reviews then good. I really wished I read the reviews before I owned one then I wouldn't have to spend so much money on it.

The best first car to own!

This car has been very reliable. Would have never wanted to choose any different car than this one. I will definitely purchase another Maxima in the future.

Super comfortable and reliable car

I like the heated seats, heated steering wheel, memory seats, automatic mirrors, monitor, leather interior. Lot of space inside, powerful engine, smooth ride. Nice asthetics, holds good looks even 13 years after first coming out.

Luxury Prestige and Good Horse Power

This vehicle performs extremely well for being 13 years old. It starts as soon as you turn the Key. It is reliable, comfortable and drives very well.

You Take Care of It, It'll Take Care of You.

Beautiful, fun to drive, has some amazing features for its age, but it does have a few draw backs too. The gas mpg isn't great (power for sacrificed economy), it costs a whole lot to take care of and maintain (but you'll be a heck of a lot happier if you do take care of it!), and the transmission computer shifting system is very sensitive (1st Maxima with Semi-Automatic shifting, so the technology was far from mastered at that point). All in all, it's an awesome car! It's just a luxury/sporty vehicle and likewise, it costs more to keep it running good than a basic looking car that gets better gas mileage and has an engine the size of a toaster! Just saying!

I found the exact car i was looking for.

This 2004 Nissan maxims performs just like the one I owned back in 2005. It is clean has low milage and does everything I was hoping it would do. This is the best used car I have ever purchased, hands down.

Good, reliable transportation

I purchased the car with 98,000 miles. In the 54,000 miles I owned the car, i changed brakes, tires, rear shocks and of course regular maintenance. Fun to drive, good on gas, and very comfortable on long trips. And also like a tank in the snow.
