Be wary of Nissan

I have 2024 Pathfinder with 138k, brought it brand new in 2014. Window seals is falling off since plastic rivels fell of. Poor qualities and cheap materials were used. Repairs are expensive. Oil leaks. Axels- front and back had to be replaced after 90k. Engine light now constantly on. Multiple repairs, but Nissan dealer unable to figure it out. Now rattle. Although the interior cabin is roomy. The rest of the car is junk. I will not buy another Nissan product or car. The qualities are teriible. Hope the Company returns to it's past commitment to reliability and quality.

Not worth the stress

Brought this car 2nd hand with 123,000klms on it. 2nd week air compressor went $1000 latter, front and back rotors and disc brakes had to be replace, lucky 3 months warranty covered it! Rear wheel bearing is getting loud will need replacing soon! Hade issues with the main screen going blank every so often, Nissan up dated it for $169 made no difference what so ever. At 160,000klms transmission has failed, took into Nissan Mandurah WA, had it assessed, they said because of the LAW SUIT on the 2014 Nissan Pathfinder we may be allegeable for compensation as car isn’t 10 years old yet! They took the matter to Nissan head office but was declined, said they could replace it for $11,000. No thank you! Now having it fixed out of our pocket for $5,000. Can’t wait to sell it worst car I’ve ever owned. Stay clear of CVT transmission’s there rubbish! Really nice SUV apart from the issues that should be recalled!!!

Nissan Pathfinder

My problem owning this car is I always have problems with driver side door handle and visor plus I hate the hood bouncing when the wind blows towards the front of the car when I'm driving. I always think it's going to flip off.

Poorly built Nissan Pathfinder 2014

I purchased this Nissan Pathfinder 2014 SL in April 2014. I have had problems with the aircondition, radio and the blower since I purchased the vehicle. I tool the vehicle to several Nissan dealers in Houston Texas. None were available to find the problems. Now, I have paid off the vehicle and have 81456 miles. Now, the dealers know the problem. Its the AC panel with the radio all in one compartment. The Nissan company poorly designed and made this vehicle. I checked online after purchasing this vehicle. This is the Major problem. It should be recalled. This is my 3rd Nissan Vehicle. I will never purchased another Nissan vehicle.

Transmission problems beware

I found out this vehicle had a known transmission problem only after buying. I purchased it used with 20,000 miles on it and the transmission went out just before the warranty ended. The dealership tried doing a cheap fix but didn’t work so they installed a rebuilt transmission. This now just out at 110,000 miles and cost to replace is nearly $6,000. Traded it in instead ……not on a Nissan.

Great car

We bought this car 2 years ago today. It had 48 thousand miles on it. It now has 98 thousand miles on it. We have not had any problems with this car.we had a Nissan Rogue before this can and it went through 2 transmissions. The pathfinder seems to be doing great we got the SL 4WD and I used it in the last ice storm we had to deliver oxygen bottles to nursing homes. I could not make it spin a tire on the ice. In my opinion it's a great car for your money

worse car ever

bad investment, don't buy this car, cost of repairs are expensive and the whole car is disassembled to work on this car. the warranty expired by the time I needed it. The dealer doesn't stand by their product.

One of my best

The car meet my driving expectations dry, wet and snow lots of leg room including 3rd row seat. Own the vehicle for seven years no issues at all only regular service oil change rotors tires brake pads pretty much that it maybe I’m one of the lucky owners.
