Great vehicle!

We purchased this pathfinder as our Nissan Rogue lease was up. This is a great family vehicle and an excellent alternative to those of us who are anti mini van!

Roomy, Reliable, Affordable, Safe, Powerful SUV

The best SUV out there! Fuel-efficient and lots of horsepower! Very spacious with 3 row seating for the average height person. High quality and reliable. Very safe for kids/family. Affordable for all models. Rides very quiet and lots of options you can add to improve comfort, especially for long trips. Excellent AWD in rain/snow conditions and still saves gas.

Smaller than my Yukon but a smoother ride

Better gas mileage and the second row moves back and forth for extra leg room. The trunk space isn't big at all so I recommend getting a luggage rack

Stray from the 2013 and 2014 Pathfinders

I thought the vehicle was sexy comfortable sleek but then I owned it for a week and my car started the "shuddering" then the valve that they replaced leaked tramission fluid all over my driveway. Being told that it's completely normal to not have a smooth ride in the 20 to 30mph range isn't really what I signed up for. Waiting for next issue honestly.

Nissan! Nissan! Quality!!

My recently purchased Nissan Pathfinder is the right vehicle for me. First & foremost, it is a Nissan, which should speak for itself. Secondly, the lumbar comfort heated leather seats are the bomb!!! Having a back condition with chronic pain, I searched for a vehicle that provided a comfortable ride with room to accommodate my grand children on any trips. The interior roominess is large and comfortable for all. I like having the 3rd row seating just in case. The sales person made the buying experience very relaxed and easy too!!! The height of the Nissan Pathfinder is exactly what I needed. Love it!!!!!

2014 pathfinder

I bought mine from a dealer/pre- certified with 10,000 miles on it. it has the 7 year/ 100,000 mile warranty. It is the platinum, 4 WD. The transmission was replaced at 50K, under warranty, although I was not having any problems, when I took it in for the recall, they replaced it and extended the warranty. Having had five ford explorers over the years I am surprised by the acceleration and MPG of the Pathfinder, much better than all my explorers, and about $10,000 less for the same equipment. The passenger airbag was replaced under a recall. After I first bought it the fuel pump replaced under warranty, no problem Dealer took care of it and gave me a loaner car. Other than oil changes, rear brakes and tires I have had no other problems. I live in SOCAL and drive the freeways, so not much experience in cold or wet climate, but two years ago I went on a 1,000 mile Round trip to Baja and had no problems. My dealer, Mossy Nissan has done a good job when I bring it in for warranty issues.

Replacement vehicle

Started out looking for a 2013 Pathfinder Platinum edition but because of the convenience of shopping on Cars.com I was able to search and finally obtain a 2014 Pathfinder Platinum..... As for the Pathfinder I bought it from a Nissan dealer, it's exactly what I wanted. It has all the factory installed options I was looking for, especially the front camera I use for parking.

Value for Money

A decent family SUV that's great value for money. Some stability issues with higher speeds though. Interiors are nicely done as well. The "intelligent" AWD system is a piece of cr** though. Even after you lock into 4wd mode, it automatically switches back to 2wd/auto. This is a huge frustration as you drive on busy snow roads as turning it back into 4wd requires the car to come to a complete stop. This is impossible on a busy mountain road. Apart from such small issues, overall its a great value for money and dont have a lot of complaints yet

Regretting

The car looks nice, very comfortable and stylish. I bought the car in 2014 and 6 months from the time bought the vehicle I had nothing but trouble. The transmission problem is the worst. I got Nissan replace my transmission twice and still giving me shutters. The fuel gauge doesn't work well, the seat tore in 2 yrs, the paint is average and Nissan dealers are only good at selling their vehicle. I will not recommend anybody buy this vehicle.
