Very Definately a Lemon
Bought the car in 2006. It was in for a raddle noise within 3 months of owning. Never found the noise. The low tire pressure light never goes off. Replaced a strut next. Then I had to purchase new tires. Very poor gas mileage. Replaced the transmission in 2009. Next the blower on the air would only work on high. Had it in 4 times before fixed. Now acting up again. It won't start so they replaced the fuel pressure valve. Worked for about a week and now not wanting to start again. There's a poping noise they can't locate problem. This has spent more time in for repairs then my van I traded for it. DON'T PURCHASE THIS CAR!

My Versa
Pros: ; Intellikey!, handling; steering wheel controls for cruise, bluetooth and radio controls; full body side colors, flaired design for tail lights, easy parking, sunglass holder, sun-roof, extra visability via mini-windows in front of side mirrors, split-fold down seats, quietness for 4 cylinder; wife loves it!, 6 Cd Changer; speed senstive volume control, hands free Memo Pad option Cons: gas mileage not as expected or rated in spite of good driving habits; could use more space in the between-seat compartment, would be nice if Intellekey opened rear doors as well; gear selector can accidentally be put in low gear alot - needs some sort of extra stop mechanism; tire pressure gauge - too sensitive, especially due to cold weather; hands-free memo pad - needs more recording space, high performance tires - needed to be changed at only 20,000 miles - very low mileage for this to happen even if proper maintanance was not performed by prior owner.

I am sorry I have a lemon- I hate this car
I bought this car in october 2006 and found out in December 2006 that I bought a lemon. This car has had more repair on broken parts than my 1990 honda civic. I had to have the hand brake repaired. By the first summer the air condition broke twice. In less than 1 year I had to replace all four tires. Now the complete system shuts down no AC no heat and I had to pay Nissan $289 to do a diagostic check on this garbage car. Some rod broke from the front end and recently I brought my car to nissan for a tune up and brakes and no the steering is vibratiing. I hate this car and it has hard to get rid of because it has no value.

I Love this Car
I have been driving a 2007 Versa for over one year. For its size class and price it is fabulous! Excellent for commuting. I bought the tech package and the stereo system if by far the best I have every had in a car. The hands free phone is great (although the mic is poor - doesn't pick up voice very well so I have to shout). The interior seems larger than most cars in larger class sizes. It is so quiet, a friend that I gave a ride thought it was an electric car. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants an reliable, comfortable economy car.

I love this car.
Well, I like this car alot. The interior and exterior is excellent. Engine is quite. The inside is spacious, luxurious and smooth. I like the hatch back style. Sound system is amazing. Alot of leg room. All my friends were impressed by the interior. It is muct better than an aveo or a yaris. Accelration is impressive. However I do not like the following: 1- Gas milage is good but not great. 2- front seats are designed for slim people. 3- It is very difficult to check the blind spot when you are driving this car. After all, I would still recommend it and if time goes back I would buy it again and again and again. 4- The car make wide turns.

Solid Car for driving to Work
Versa for the money is a solid car carries 4 with ease, 5 in pinch. Good mpg no frills. Well put together. No problems in 36000 miles. Highway drive to work very enjoyable. No hot rod but handles very nice. 6 speed manual tranny notchie shift pattern but get use to it pretty quick. Brakes strong, no ABS on this one seems odd with all the other safety equipment. Tire inflation sensors can trigger near microwave relay stations, they reset when you far enough away. AC little slow on 98F days. Run about 4 miles and cools off well. Factory tires okay, they lasted about 24K miles, found going up in size a bit helps with cross wind on bridges. Hatchback holds a lot with ease, wish back seats folded flat to floor, they fold down but stick up a bit. Easy to clean carpet and seats quick vaccuum and car looks good. All in all a fine first car or a great value daily driver.

Poor Gas Mileage
Don't buy this car if you are expecting great gas mileage. We bought our Versa in July of 2007 and have put 12,000 miles on it . We are barely getting 23 miles to the gallon. If you want a great car with good gas mileage buy a Honda Civic. I wish that is what we would have done. Can't trade this car in as it's only worth 9 or 10 thousand dollars now. So between the poor gas mileage we've also lost over 4,000 in value.

WORST CAR EVER
I absolutely hate this car. I've had it for almost 2 years now and I've had so many problems with it. It wasn't worth bying just for the good gas mileage.

Impressed
After doing conciderable research and test drives of other vehicles, I decided to purchase this as the vehicle I hope to have for a lifetime. You better get one of these before it starts wiping the competition out and jumps up a couple grand. They know they have a nice car (SL version). The difference between base and SL models is amazing. Different seats, plush interior, intelligent key, CVT transmission, etc. I got such a great price for mine that you may want to concider test driving a Honda Fit just to see the diffence between what you get. Trust me, these prices are gonna go up, alot! I would drive this from one end to the other.

I'm sorry to say I have a lemon
I read many reviews and researched this car before purchasing it. This was the 1st Nissan (or foreign car) I ever bought and I'm sorry to say I'm not at all impressed. It had all the features I was looking for and a good price. I purchased the car in April 2007 and by June 2007 I was having problems. The car wouldn't start and I was getting mileage at the low range of the estimate, which is very unusual for me, I normally get mileage toward the highway estimates range. The dealer had the car for a month and a half to replace the fuel pump. Since then my gas mileage has gone down 6+ miles per gallon. But everything is in spec so no one will fix it. My V6 Dodge got only 1 mile less a gallon, and it was 11 years old. Come to find out that fuel pump is a common problem. The fuel pump sticks shut so the car won't start or sticks open and it uses too much gas. Next, I had to bring it because the heater wasn't working, to find out after leaving at the car at the dealers again. A part was missing so the hot water wasn't allowed to circulate. By the way there is a problem with the heater as well. A notice is supposed to be coming out if it isn?t out already, according to the service person. I have been having a problem with the keyless remote. The dealer stated one was bad and the other one is good. However the good one only works part of the time. The service person couldn't even get the good keyless remote to work. But the diagnostics stay its fine so I will only get one replace. The handling is very responsive. In my opinion it is too responsive. I can?t change any of the controls on the steering column without turning the wheel. I never had this problem When sliding on ice, which we get, a lot of in West Michigan, the steering actually make it more dangerous. The traction is also a problem in the snowy ice. The Versa for its weight slips to much, maybe it just the tires. I checked the prices and mileage prior to writing this and found the price and mileage are lower then when I bought the vehicle less than a year ago April 2007 So I?m not impressed with this car maintenance or performance For a first time buyer I would not recommend this car and I?m considering selling it for something else, with better gas mileage I gave up a lot for the gas mileage and the Versa isn?t getting it for me I may never buy another Nissan again because of this experience
