Sporty daily driver

If you are thinking about buying a grand prix, theres the v6 and v8. The gxp v8 is nicer inside and out with much more power but suffers from higher repair costs.

Fits, Fun, Fast, and a Pleasure to Ride In.

Pontiac's Wide-Track Suspension, paired with the Grand Prix Profile and Supercharged V-6 make this great riding car a very fun car to drive, as well! Very reliable.

Worth driving it

I loved the vehicle because it had everything I wanted except the condition of the transmission. That's only because I got mine as a gift after being used.

Crazy Torque

The fastest front drive car I've owned! I have to find a good way to keep the engine cool in the summer. Highly recommend this model!

Great car

This vehicle is very reliable and comfortable. It has a ton of A/C vents so you will not be warm in the hot summers, and also has seat warmers so you are warm in the winter

No mechanical problems, great ride car!

I've enjoyed my 2006 grand prix. Great road car, bought in 2006 and still own, has 220,000 + miles. No mechanical problems, would buy another one for next vehicle.

Will always love my Grand Prix's

My family has had a total of 4 Grand Prix's. The ones we have now are both 2006. One is a base and one is a GXP. The base is simple, good gas mileage, drives nice and is comfortable. The GXP has power, it's loaded and comfortable. The only major complaint I have with the GXP is the recommended gas is premium vs regular unleaded and it doesn't give the greatest mileage either. Other than that, yes cars age and will need things replaced and we haven't had any major things on the base other than wear and tear stuff. However, the only major thing with the GXP is we had to have the transmission rebuilt at 133k. We will forever love the Grand Prix and plan on staying a Grand Prix family for years to come!

The best car I've ever owned

The car is AMAZING, I have the gxp trim with the 5.3L V8. The performance is exhilarating when you hear the tires squeal when you punch it. The leather interior with the suede inserts are comfortable and really hold you in place not to mention they're heated. The HUD on the window is a nice touch along with stealth mode. This car seems to be very popular in the Midwest considering I finally got mine after the 15 others that sold before I got to see them. Well worth it.

Best performance car with lowest maintenance

Drives and handles awesome. Good gas mileage. Fast and reliable. With 303 HP at the front end, not many cars on the road will perform better nor sound better than this car.

Owned for 7 years.

I LOVE my Pontiac. I bought it used 7 years ago. The previous owner had been in an accident with it, which I did not know. Still, the car has been super reliable. During the 7 years, I haven't taken take of it AT ALL. I've had small problems every other year (new tires, new brakes, fan) but that's probably because I haven't taken care of it. I'm at 109,000 miles now, and I'm starting to have some heat/cool problems, but I still love my car.
