So far, so good

I just purchased the Ascent Touring. Love its styling. Plenty of safety and convenience features. It's too new to rate the reliability, but I expect it will be very good.

Safety, style, comfort

The Subaru Ascent Touring model has all the safety features available for a 2020 vehicle. I love to drive this vehicle. The cabin design allows for a lot of comfort and it’s quiet. The Bose sound system, including sub woofer, is sweet. The first and second seating rows are bucket seats. This model has a third row, but I rarely use it. Recently rented a Range Rover, with a price well in excess of the Subaru Ascent Touring. A nice vehicle but the Subaru is a better value.

My eight Subaru. Never disappointed

I had quite a few Outbacks but wanted something a little larger..vey happy with the Ascent...bigger...quicker..gas mileage not as good but that’s to be expected.

Easiest Car Purchase I've Ever Made

This car met all my family needs. We live in a rural, mountain area and there's plenty of power with great gas mileage for this family car. The additional charger ports are great for the kids tablets, phones during long car rides. I recommend buying the maintenance and protection plan.

Worth every penny

I recently traded my MKX for an Ascent. Mind you, it seems going from a Lincoln to a Subaru would be shockingly different, but it honestly isnt. The interior is roomy and luxurious, tons of tech, better safety gadgets, and better gas mileage. Even though I went to a bigger vehicle and from a V6 to a 4-cyl, this thing has plenty of power. The few complaints that I have are the fact that the passenger seat isn't more adjustable, to use android or apple car play it has to be physically plugged in (to utilize everything, not simple music playing which can be done by bluetooth), and it's a bit noisier than I'm used to... as in I can hear the engine as I'm idling and the road noise is more noticeable but not horrible. This could be do the the amazing panoramic rooftop, which is understandable. Overall, this vehicle is a solid 4.5/5 in my book.

Great to drive!

Very smooth to drive. Love all the features. Could use a little more front cabin storage. the front bottle holders in the doors only work for small water bottles.

So far so GREAT

This vehicle has exceeded our expectations in nearly every way. We are getting over 30 mpg on the highway. Power/acceleration is Outstanding. The ride and handling is amazing. After reading multiple reviews we expected some issues, and possibly some excessive body roll on tight turns. Zero, 0, NO issues to date. (I always find something wrong in the first few weeks or at delivery) and she inspires confidence on hard curves. 1 design change I would make is the radio is active at start up, even if you turn it off at shutdown. That’s about it. Otherwise, AWESOME. We LOVE the CVT. It is well suited for the turbo engine keeping in the optimal rpm range. We took it off road on an 8° slope. Just a dirt road nothing serious, but it was absolutely no test of this vehicle’s capabilities. 10 out of 10!!!

Very roomy and extremely comfortable

This SUV met all the needs I was looking for. Very elegant, and the exterior color inside and out was superb. I owned A Mazda CX5 prior to purchasing the Ascent. I loved my CX5 but it just became too small. We needed more space as we will be doing more driving after my husband retires soon.
