Practical
Practical. We love our 2020 Ascent Limited and we live in the south. We have a large family and this is great while the kids are small. Once more than three are teenagers, we'll definitely need a larger vehicle that provides more leg room if you're sitting on the back row. Love the convenience and ease of how the rear seats fold forward when I'm shopping and/or loading up from the back. The 10 year 100k mile warranty was reasonably priced at less than $2.5k. Haven't had to use it yet (knock on wood). Again, it's practical so the seats aren't as plush as premium vehicles but they're nice and comfortable. This pretty much describes the interior. The electronics are comparable to most vehicles. It has everything you need but nothing over the top. (Again, practical.) Greatly appreciate the cabin air filter and ease of changing it. I like smelling a fresh interior all the time. We're in the south where it's high in pollen, so the HEPA cabin filter is perfect. In my opinion the Ascent is a great mid-size SUV option that looks nice, is practical and has that Subaru reliability.

2020 Ascent had poor reliability
Very disappointed with the 2020 Ascent bought new and also with poor dealer experience. Had multiple quality issues including excess gasoline contamination in the engine oil (high oil level on dipstick), heavy brake vibration and shudder when brakes get hot, poor and unfixable drivers door fit. Will never buy a Subaru again, should have bought a Toyota!

had a used Subaru ascent at 35k miles, and about 40k miles in the front black trim piece FELL off and whacked a car behind us while going 70mph down the road. also the fuel pump had to be replaced about SEVEN times.

Not reliable, really horrible dealer service. Will
I’m working on my third transmission. Not remotely reliable. Had Forester, much better than the Ascent. Will never buy another Subaru. Most expensive least reliable.

Great Quality, styling, reliability, and value.
2020 Subaru Accent met all my needs and dreams. Very smooth, sleek interior, full moon roof, interior exterior lighting is beautiful. Classy luxury SUV able to tow 5k lbs, turbo engine and many safety features .

Super comfortable with many great features
This car is spacious with very comfortable seating and many extra features that make me feel like I am riding in style. It came with a giant sun roof, clear bra, options for navigation and phone apps, choice of car mats (rubber or carpet) and rides so smooth. I love my new Subaru!!

Fantastic Family Car, but frequent gas stations
The amount of safety features on this car is almost too much to count. It’s great that you can turn them on off for when you want to have a little fun without the kids in the car. Plenty of power and love the space. Sad that it only gets 22 average mpg and only has a 17 gallon tank. Biggest complaint is the gas tank size

LOVE my new ride!
I am new to the Subaru family and I really have enjoyed driving the Ascent. Needed an AWD for this area and so far is very reliable. Looking forward to warmer weather so we can travel to other areas.

After one year, this car has operated perfectly
We really like the Eyesight technology which will help us be better drivers as we continue to age. There was absolutely no charge for the one-year maintenance schedule we just had.
