Quiet Comfort

I just got it today and drove it 75 miles home. Very pleasant experience! I was particularly impressed by the cruise control features and the many other safety features

I've owned a Forester a couple of years ago .

I had a Outback , but missed my Forester. It has plenty of room, and is comfortable to ride in. It has a lot of pick up and go.

3rd Subaru I've owned.

Manual transmission is a dream and helps the performance of the vehicle. Still too new to overall review but the back of the rear seats only have cloth covering them instead of something more substantial to support items placed there when seats are down. Would need a cargo mat.

Best car I have owned ...

Car meets all my needs. Love the safety features and the AWD. The interior is awesome looking, nice leather seats, navigation equipment, and an excellent audio system.

Reliable workhorse

Our Forester has had two minor problems- replacing all four tires when you have a blowout on the freeway and the door-side mirrors making noises when moving at freeway speeds

First Defective Car I Have Purchased

A great car to drive. EyeSight system works well. The rear hatch...not so much. For an expensive vehicle, I cannot believe they cannot figure out why the rear gate refuses to open when using the opener button on the door. They have replaced the button once but it still malfunctions. It's getting to the point where I want a replacement vehicle. Perhaps Subaru Canada should take back my car and establish why their hatch system is flawed. Surely I am not alone with this problem. What about you? Do any dealers have any idea on what is wrong?

3rd Subaru I owned

Because this is my third Subaru I know I was getting a reliable, safe vehicle. The Forester is a all wheel drive vehicle the can handle moderate off roading. Has a 1500lb towing capacity that meets my needs.

Interior space is not roomy

If the price is right at $22,000, I buy it. Right now 0 percent financing is appealing. I would only spend $20,000 if stick shift.

Love it.

I really enjoy this vehicle although I must admit I was a bit overwhelmed by the 634 page owners manual. The abbreviated version was much more digestable and after two weeks I'm learning how to use a lot of the features. We got the 2.0 model with the more powerful engine and it really scoots. Only disappointment is that with the rear seats down it does not lay flat and so sleeping in the back is out. We live in Wyoming and now I'm looking forward to winter.
