Top rated for safety features

I previously owned the 2017 Forester Premium but this 2020 Premium has eclipsed the comfort, features and interior noise level of my 2017. I got the car at a super price and it included the rear trunk lift gate that makes opening the rear a snap. I am very impressed with the marked improvements and smooth ride. Getting use to all the new features and liking them more and more. Subaru also offers hands on explanations and overview of all that this model offers. It was between this and a Honda CR V but based on price, features, and 0 interest the purchase was a NO BRAINER.

Glad to be driving a Forester again

We gave up our last Forester almost 16 years ago when our 3rd child was born and we wanted more seats. We're very happy that with our older two children leaving home we can have a Forester again. It's the perfect blend of SUV and gas mileage - not too big and not too small. The styling is beautiful and the color we got - blue pearl - is gorgeous. We've been enjoying the extra features that didn't exist in our last cars - lane departure alerts, lane assist, and smart cruise control. We purchased the premium version and it's very comfortable. We upgraded with USBs for the back seats and they've been invaluable already. The roofrack and towpackage (up to 1500 lbs) have been a nice add as well.

Has all the latest new electronic protections.

I am delighted with this car. I bought a white one this time and so far so good. Love all the crash and warning options.

Looked at most all smaller crossovers

Looked all over, and the most important factors was space and visibility. Space is plenty for what we need. The key factor was visibility, and the Forester is nice and airy, good visibility in all directions. Large rear wiper. Most smaller crossovers have cute little kinked up rear quarters which create massive blind spots. We sat in almost everything and that was the first thing that we looked at. Forester has the best visibility. We looked at Forester 3 years ago and was so-so. Newer model much improved, much quieter and more solid, CSV feels better, and more competitive.

My second Subaru for a good reason

This is our second Subaru and probably won't be the last. The first one went 119K on a single set of brakes, one set of tires, One recall and 2 rear wheel bearings. Other than regular maintenance that is it. Very reliable car. 2013 Crosstrek. We upgraded to a Forester. I wanted a slightly larger vehicle for her, and me. It's comfortable and amazing upgrade in technology to say the least. The ride is quite pleasant, the CVT transmission is much smoother then the 13 and it was good. Over all in just over 100 miles of driving we are overall very pleased with this vehicle .

Finally got my dream car.

This car is exactly the perfect car. Not too big, not hard to park. Enough leg and head room, enough space in the rear for groceries, the dog and anything else you need to put in it. Heated seats and steering wheel, such luxury. Ample room for the car seat. I love my new car!!!

I really love it

I bought at 2012 forester and was not a big fan. When I went out shopping, I knew I wanted a subaru. First I drove a legacy, after that I took an outback for a spin. I really liked the looks of the legacy and the versatility of the outback. I had a sour taste in my moth from the 2012 I opened, but I decided to just sit in the forester for peace of mind. I am glad I did. After the redesign in 2019, it is much more fitting for what it is. Much more space on the inside the previous models. Gives you the sportier looks with the versatility of the outback. I LOVE IT

The Subaru I never knew I wanted

Never been a Subaru fan but my Forester Sport is the best vehicle I've owned. It's solid, slick, and smooth - enough said. Everyone comments on the car and can't believe it's a Subaru, couldn't be happier.
