So far, so good
Very excited about trying a Subaru--love the visibility. Learning all the great safely features. Just waiting for the Stay at Home orders to end so we can enjoy it.

Cool car
Very nicely appointed and seems very well built. Safety seems to be number 1 with Subaru. I guess the only thing I can't figure with all the safety features is the lack of installed fog lamps. I bought the premium model and no fogs..can't figure that one out. Other than that all is awesome

Air bags don't work
I got into one accident going 45mph and no air bag deployed, however I'm hitting 48,000 miles and the car will start on its own N. Charleston Subaru on rivers ave always seem to make it out to be your fault.

Brand new
So far, so good. Lots of things to learn. What are all those beeping sounds for? A little difficult to set up Carplay for an Apple phone.

I love and trust this vehicle!
Subaru incorporated some great body design updates to the Forester - went from rather tame/predictable (2015) to a really sporty vibe for 2020. I traded in for new safety features (blind spot indicator driver lane assist, rear brake assist) and larger display monitor for back-up camera and controls. Love that they listened to customers and added other convenience features (rear seat cup-holders, additional dome light, USB ports, digital spedometer, etc.) I sure liked getting my insurance quote -- almost identical to monthly cost for the trade-in -- which speaks to the advanced safety features and safety history overall for Subaru vehicles.

Deservedly Consumer Reports Top Rated SUV
Highly rated especially for Seniors. Easy access in and out. Has all the safety features available . It is so smart that if you have lane warning assist active you can (but shouldn't) take your hands off the steering wheel and it will keep you in the middle of the lane even around curves. senses traffic coming from the side both in front of you and behind you. If you have a smart phone you can activate a navigation app and have it display on your dashboard. No need to purchase a built in GPS.

Lots of room
I purchased this car because of the legroom and head room. I have long legs and a big bottom(300+lbs). I am very comfortable. Looking forward to a long distance trip.

Awesome car
The features in this car are outstanding. I love everything about my car except the size/placement of the cup holders. Too close together and when I picked my drink up it popped the lid off my husband's and spilled all over my brand new car! Aside from that, this car is perfection.

Loaner car review
I received a Forester Touring model as a loaner car for two days. Overall this was a very nice car. The 4-cylinder had decent acceleration, excellent brakes, good stereo system, comfortable seats, and exceptional views looking forward and back. Steering was a bit touchy however I drove the car on a windy day. One feature I would like to see is an engine temperature gauge. This model only has an “idiot light”. If I was in the market for a new car the 2020 Forester would be a contender.

3rd Subaru and my favorite by far
I've driven my new Subaru Forester Sport for a couple months and have been completely impressed with it. The handling (hugs the road nicely and has very responsive steering), ride comfort (softer ride than my old Crosstrek, quiet), features (eyesight, x-mode, Apple CarPlay), and gas mileage (25-28 city, 30-34 hwy so far). I had a 2018 Crosstrek before this which I loved but needed more cargo space. The Forester has excellent visibility and the eyesight features are very helpful. The sluggishness some people complain about isn't as bad as they say. I've never had an issue passing on the freeway or getting going from a stop. In fact it has some decent pep from my experience. I'm more concerned with gas mileage anyway so I am satisfied with the engine size. Overall I'm completely happy with it and like it more and more each time I drive it.
