I expected more from a Subaru
Interior ================================ Pros + The Multimedia Display (Subaru Starlink) is pretty awesome, it lets me use Android Auto, Apple Carplay, Spotify, Pandora, Waze, Google Maps, etc. + The push button start is a pretty cool feature. + I love the way the storage box between the two front seats has 2 hidden USB ports and a cigarette lighter for power options. Cons - The Multimedia Display started to get white marks under the glass around the corners of the screen from being in the Florida heat after about a year of ownership. - The 2017 Limited Model didnt come with keychain remote start standard with the push button start. - The 2017 Limited Model that I purchased had issues with Sunshades, it kept popping up some foam from under the dashboard every time I tried using any type of sunshade with it, even the official Subaru sunshade, I had to take it to the Subaru dealership 3 times to get the foam tucked back under the dashboard any time I tried to use a sunshade, I eventually gave up on using sun shades because I got tierd of having the foam popping out and having to bug my dealership to tuck it back in. - After 2 years of ownership its started to develop rust around the muffler, and the back trunk interior around the crevices and I dont even live in a state where it snows so road salt isnt an issue, I live in inland Florida away from the ocean. - The trunk space is very lacking, I have a hard time fitting medium sized Home Depot moving boxes into the trunk (folded up) of my Sedan or large amounts of groceries. - The rubber Subaru cargo liner that came with my car ripped after a year of putting groceries in the trunk, I expected it to be more durable. Exterior =============================== Pros + The LED over the headlights looks really nice and I love how the headlights shine in the direction that I point my steering wheel. + Fog lights came standard with the limited model. + Premium alloy wheels standard with the limited model. + Leather seats came standard with the limited model. + Seat warmers came standard with the limited model (although their not of much use in Florida, their nice to have). + The exterior design looks very attractive. Cons - The chrome door handles start to streak all over the paint on the doors after you wash the car, honestly I wish they would have just been the color of the regular car paint so it wouldn't stain the doors every time I wash my car. - Many models are starting to come with Subaru eyesight as part of the car which only works at slow speeds (not highway driving) I wish they had the option to get a dash cam standard instead of Subaru eyesight. - The 2017 model didnt come with those sensors around the car that beep when theres a car in your blind spot or your getting too close to another vehicle. - After 2 years of ownership its started to develop rust around the muffler, and the back trunk interior around the crevices and I dont even live in a state where it snows so road salt isnt an issue, I live in inland Florida away from the ocean. Performance =============================== Pros + The cabin noise is pretty quiet, you dont hear too much noise from the outside while driving. + The ride is pretty smooth, you dont feel all the little bumps on the road. + The multimedia display and bluetooth work really well together. + AWD Standard on all Subaru's. Cons - I wish it could accelerate faster, it could use a some more horsepower. Family Friendly ================================ Not much space for a family inside of the vehicle, it can get pretty cramped if you want to sit more than 4-5 people and take things with you for a trip due to the small trunk space on the sedan model. Overall Rating ================================ The 2017 Subaru Impreza Limited Sedan has many great features but it lacks in engine performance (acceleration speed), durability, quality of the parts, and trunk space of the sedan model. At the time that I purchased the vehicle there weren't that many competitors that offered a multimedia display for Android Auto and Apple Carplay, leather seats, and AWD as standard options which is why I picked Subaru but the next time that I purchase a new vehicle I think that I will choose a Toyota instead because I didnt expect my Subaru to come with so many factory defects after hearing about how durable they are and how long they lasts from friends and family.

Great all wheel drive car. Love the eyesight!
The all wheel drive system is wonderful, better than competing vehicles (Subaru's system is better). It got me home when my wife thought I would never make it when we had almost 3 feet of snow in May. I live in the mountains and it handles very well. The Eyesight system along with blind spot detection, rear cross traffic alert, and rear camera are great. Mileage is very good too.

Most comfortable car I have owned.
I'm 6'2" any there is plenty of leg and head room with plenty of backseat leg space to spare with my seat set all the way back. Rides smooth and is quiet inside the cab. Best stereo system sound and it hugs the road around corners in acceleration. Wow! What a thrill!!

Best value for its price
This car meets all my needs it’s got so many safely features, while also being a nice looking vehicle. The space within the sedan is so much more than expected, it’s reliability is unmatched.

This car is great even In the standard model. Fit my family great with a decent amount of room. It has enough truck space to fit all my work stuff and school stuff at the same time.

18th Subaru I have owned
My 2017 Impreza Sport has been flawless, The miles per gallon have been great, but 10% less than rates because I drive it aggressi. I love the new platform of a small SUV hatchback. There is so much space to carry loads of luggage.

First Subaru but not first AWD
I bought this yesterday Feb 1 2019 with 20,700 miles on it from the dealership at Southpointe Hendricks Subaru in Durham, NC. I think the dealership did not give a great deal. charged more than they should have. I got black Premium. The car seems higher than the sport model i tried in a different place which had everything on it. This one doesn't have the blind spot or auto braking before a collision and I think I should have had that. The car drives well but has a lot of body roll and some engine noise. Though outside noise is negligent. Brakes well and corners well as the turning radius is smaller than the legacy. It doesn't feel as planted as my BMW 2011 3 series with X Drive but that is a different category of car altogether. But for all the other cars in it's price range drives very well and looks stylish and classy in black as well as the AWD which even in if you have some snowy days in the winter is useful as well as in the rainy days in all the other seasons. I cannot say much of reliability as i have not owned it but one day. Hope it is. All in all, the affordability and the AWD and the safety that drew me to the first Japanese car I have bought. And no, not a BMW but drives well and I am satisfied.

Really good in snow...sucked at everything else
I honestly hated this car. The only time where I loved it was in the snow...because it just never got stuck. Like I could have snow up to my fenders and still mash the pedal from a dead stop and not slip once. Like it was kind of unbelievable in the winter. But with having standard awd it's kind of expected. But everything else...it's uncomfortable, the electronics tended to just stop working...regularly...like the radio would shut off at random, the back up camera would stop working whenever it felt like...radio presets would reset, the screen would stop working...just a headache sometimes. The check engine light would pop on every once in awhile seemingly for no apparent reason and then go off without warning. It got TERRIBLE GAS MILEAGE...like literally terrible... For a four banger I literally only averaged like 23 mpg....on a good day got 25...never higher than that...and I do ALL highway driving. I bought a f**king Challenger and that thing averages 30 mpg...and has DOUBLE the power. It's insane. And I don't understand it. And the car is ungodly slow and I HATE the CVT trans...it's literally the worst thing ever. I wanted a manual but I settled for the cvt because I didn't want to wait a week when I needed a car at the time. It is what it is. If you don't care about fuel economy, performance, working radios, electronics in general, and just something that you can get from point a to b with little to no issues then get a subie...But if you actually care about all that stuff then I'd stay very far away from this car. Maybe I'm being harsh, but I don't really car. Literally the MOST BORING car I've ever owned...and I used to own a 1998 Ford escort that broke every other week and that thing was still more fun than this... Just happy to be out of it. Someone else's problem now.
