Great little car, good gas mileage, comfortable!

Amazing car! Bought it with about 92k miles on it almost a year ago. Great reliability so far, no issues at all. Very well maintained, my only issue is that it doesn't have Bluetooth, which, I know, it's a minor thing, but my old car had it (2013 base Subaru Forester, -10/10 do not recommend). The Legacy still drives like brand new, and is very comfortable on the highway and backroads. Decent gas mileage for the age, averaging around 25 in the city and 32/35 on the highway. No issues with the CVT, either. Not even showing signs of wear, after more than 10 years and 100k miles! Built to last!

not so nice for the price

It works great. But it broke down. I am not happy. I used to love Subaru but this car was not good. No more Subaru.

Mileage equals money hungry

Had to replace the head gaskets, radiator, water pump, timing belt, cracked exhaust manifold, O2 sensors. Also should mention replace front bumper cover and right fender panel. Transmission has not power. It has reach 300K but might be the end of it's life. This might be the first and only Subaru will own just way to much trouble and cost.

Saved by my Suburu

A Dodge Ram truck hit my 2011 Legacy w/ such force that I was pushed 20’, and over a curb before hitting a metal pole and ending up on my side, but I was not injured. My seatbelt kept me safe.

2nd Subaru...same issue

This is our 2nd Subaru, but will be the last. We had to trade in our 2003 Forrester, bought new, due to a trans issue Subaru wanted to charge a large sum of money for, so we traded it in to get our new Legacy 2011. It was great at first, runs great in snow and stops the best in snow of all our cars. However, the CVT transmission is shot. Replacement is upwards of $8,000 at cost, and the transmission shops can't fix it due to Subaru not having the parts for it. I wouldn't recommend getting a Subaru until repair shops can stock and efficiently service these vehicles at low or comparable cost to a Honda or Toyota. Both our Subarus only lasted about 150k to 170k miles.

I felt lied to

While the car runs well for now, it had a hidden problem that wasn’t found until it started to get bad. My transmission is going out, and when I had asked the dealership about it, the told me they couldn’t find a problem. I also asked if they serviced their cars, and they said they fully service all their cars that they receive.

Quickness,handling ,breaking are elite.

This has been a great car. After driving 7 Sufis of all types I can say with a straight face that I like this cat better....It's easy to drive very safe and there's nothing better then all wheel drive on ice or wet roads. It parks easily. It maneuvers and immediately goes where you want. No hesitation .Getting another new one but no way am I trading this one in.

Clean, sounds and runs good

Runs good, came clean and feels like it can do another 100k if properly maintained. Some of the buttons feel like they’re in odd places but you’ll get used to it.

I love this car!

I have the limited 2.5 CVT with paddle shifting. This little car is so fun to drive! Its got enough power for me to get through the mountains and have a little fun, very comfy on road trips.
