Not a great car.

The CVT is trash, it sucks the life out of this car. The engine is barely adequate and the handling at highway speeds is sloppy and wandering. The air conditioner is weak. The blower has 4 speed settings, off, off, off, and hurricane. The seat bottoms are to short and don't support your legs if you are over 4'6". For fun you can crack the rear Windows at 50mph and pretend you are in a Blackhawk because it sounds like you are in a blackhawk. Anyway, in before the fanboys lose their minds.

Bullet Proof AWD sedan

Crazy good MPG. I average 34 mpg as I commute every day. I currently have 203k on this car. Uses no oil. All features still work properly. Expecting to drive it to 400k miles. Climbs our steep gravel hill in any weather. Never have to clear off the snow again!!

Every Time I Drive it I Love it Even More

I just recently purchased this car used (83k miles), and I have zero complaints. It's quick, it's incredibly smooth, it's comfortable, the mpg is pretty good, it's got a bunch of features and I'm still finding more! It's the smoothest ride I've ever experienced; it hugs the road and shifts like a dream. Everyone that sees it says that it's super nice inside and out. (And my boyfriend is jealous!) I hope to have this car for a long time!

most reliable car I've owned

Very dependable. Rides smoothly. Great for the highway. Very good gas mileage. Roomy for a sedan. Lots of room in the trunk. Very enjoyable to drive.

66000 miles. Only expense have been factory recomm

Love this Subaru. Replaced set of tires at 60,000 miles, serviced to factory specs and nothing else. My question is: why would anyone buy a 1/2 traction car when you can get an all wheel drive for the same money! Everyone knows about snow but wet or damp roads the Subaru is much safer. When I rent a 2 wheel drive the difference is enormous. Will never go back to a 2 wheel drive.

Reliable AWD

Never bought Subaru before. I heard the Legacy is an AWD Honda Accord. It drives like a go kart, but I wish it had more horsepower. There is a lot of interior room and the seats are so comfortable that I can drive a few hours without the need to stop and stretch.

Keeping this one !

For being a small car, this car has a ton of room in it, especially the back seat. The car just fits me perfectly and is one of the most comfortable cars I've ever owned. I definitely recommend the Legacy. I've never kept my cars more than about 3 years, I've had this one 6 years now, paid it off and don't plan on upgrading anytime soon.
