2009 Subaru Outback consumer reviews

This is my 7th subaru I have owned and the best! The 3.0 has the best ride and less road noise then the 2.5 subaru. I live in the mountains and have no trouble with the many hills I have to drive alone with the snow and ice. I'll let someone else drive the Hybrids and electric plug ins! LOL

I'm 6'-4" and I fit in the Subaru best out of all the small cars out there. I sit comfortable in it, but after about a 2 hour drive I need to stretch my legs, I wish the seat had about 1 more inch of backward travel. But in similar vehicles my knees were against the dash. Handling is excellent. Some reviews have said "limited offroad capabilities,"I say it is at home off road! It may not have the most power, but it is the most safe, smoothest riding, best handling car in it's class.

love the sound system, superb. the added sports shift is a real plus. torque is better than previous models. steering wheel telescopes! both passenger and driver seats are fully motorized and heated. passenger and driver have their own heating and air conditioning settings. only regret not enough storage space in front cabin and no hooks for storage nets, though comes with them when you order but you have to install.
