2019 Subaru Outback consumer reviews

This is my second Subaru. I had a 2016 Legacy which I traded in for this Outback. I loved my Legacy. It ran well, looked beautiful, gas mileage was good and handled very well in all kinds of weather. The only reason I traded it in was because I wanted the higher ground clearance and cargo section of the Outback. I can only hope (and expect) that this vehicle will be as good as my Legacy. So far this car handles just as well if not better. The ride is smooth and solid. The features are great, I love the extra perks such as the even-better sound system and additional safety features in the Limited vs. the Premium, too. Exterior and interior both beautiful, very impressive. Safe, beautiful, comfortable and enjoyable ride. Everything one could want in a car.

This car seems to run well so far with only 2k on it. I have the2019, 3.6 outback seems to like gas in the city but good for highway use. 11.8/100 km is the average not sure if this will get better. Having issues with the infotainment unit where it keeps freezing and losing it's presets on the radio. Working with the dealership to try and get it replaced. Apparently it is a known issue, but I wasn't aware when i bought the car. It is a pain to have to keep returning the vehicle to the garage for updates. I wish they would just replace it. Reason for not recommending this car to a friend is the trouble with the radio system.

Love the car so far especially the comfortable seats, smooth ride and all the safety features. Looking forward to taking a long trip this summer.

The Outback has good safety features and visibility. It is comfortable and attractive. It has ample space in the trunk and plenty of legroom. Controls are easily accessible.

Wife loves the comfort better than her Honda The cruise control is tricky to learn .to increace or decrease by 1 or 2 mph you must hold button up or down

Perfect car for us and our two dogs. It is very comfortable and its safety features are excellent. We are very happy with this new car.

Good for our family. Great handling and driving comfort. I feel it could use a few more horses under the hood. Otherwise great drive overall.

This was my first entree into the Subaru world and I couldn’t be more pleased. This car has excellent value for the money. Fantastic high end feature set included; LED lighting, adaptive cruise, rear heated seats, and USB ports everywhere! It’s rugged styling you would expect from Subaru lends to the cars appeal. The only downside is the 2.5L engine can be sluggish when passing at highway speeds.
