Reliable old friend

This car has been more than reliable over the years from thousand mile trips to visit family or distant parts of the country, to mountain climbing and boony-busting off-road in search of big game. I have never been stranded by broken parts nor left behind in the field or on the highway. This baby is a peach!

2004 4Runner V8: An SUV Years Ahead Of It?s Time

This car is the most reliable SUV of the 2000?s as proven by multiple reports. It handles very well and supports a comforting ride despite the ability to tow/haul with the best pickups. Absolutely zero significant repairs (just minor interior touch-ups mostly due to my negligence). The exterior styling of the Limited V8 is timeless. When the car is clean, many of my friends have mistook it for a 2008-2011 vehical. I have put 125,000+ miles on the car, and we already have a buyer in the family for it lined up once I get a new car. Like they did with our previous 4Runner, they will put another 100k on it with no issues. On road or off road, this car dominates. It can?t fly, that?s the only con.

Amazing vehicle

This 4runner is an amazing vehicle. They are built well, and hold up. High safety rating and overall a great vehicle, and will hold up to whatever you throw at it.

Extremely reliable. Best SUV I've owned.

I'd highly recommend the 4Runner. The 2004 has since been improved with updated technology etc., but having been in one collision in this car I can tell you it's one of the safest vehicles on the road.

Good car for the price.

this car has a lot of leg room which is great as my husband is tall. Lots of room for luggage and of course the dog!!

Toyota fan

I have driven almost all Toyota models, started from Corolla and up to Sequoia. The 4 Runner is my favorite.

Have owned it for 13 years and love it!

I am amaze with how little this car has required as far a maintenance. Besides oil, breaks, and tires, this car has not needed anything. I am going to be very sad the day I let it go...
