2020 Toyota 4Runner consumer reviews

It’s ok having some mechanical problems never thought that would happen. Also having issue with body panels separating and drivers heated seat inconsistent some days it works and some days slight heat.

I am enjoying my 2020 Toyota 4Runner - Its the best SUV I've driven, and I would definately reccommend it to anyone in the market for a 4Runner!

If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up...Easy around town and comfortable on the 90 mile trip to my little piece of paradise on the weekend. The army green pops, too.

The quality of this vehicle is second to none. I have never driven a vehicle that is so much fun to drive. I haven't found any place this vehicle hasn't been able to take me.

I absolutely fell in love with this 4Runner. It's beautiful, drives smoothly, and looks super sporty. It was a little more pricey, but worth it IMO.

Great exterior rugged styling with TRD OFF ROAD PREMIUM Way better comfort than FJ Cruiser. Toyota should offer the “blackout” of the front and rear bumper valances as an option. I had to have them aftermarket painted.

I enjoy my 4RUNNER. This is the second one I’ve owned and I love it. Smooth ride and looks nice. Handles well and I’m very satisfied.

Looking forward to years of driving this sporty and rugged vehicle but at the same time has very nice options for any driver to use each day.

I got the Venger special edition. But the cruise control is the same as one my old 1984 Corolla and works like it. It does not maintain speeed well. When speed drop 2 mph below cruise setting it then accelerated es really fast to 2 mph over. Setting and slowly decelerates to cruise setting. The manual climate controls are also just as dated. No temperature setting/auto option. The bright lights auto feature is more a hazard than a help - brights constantly switching off and on was too distracting . The new collision avoidance feature co caused the car to speed up and slow down when using cruise control - had to disable it. Basically Toyota is reliable and looks good but they need to modernize their "current "features and put more use input to work. The compass points south when going north and that is supposedly by design - hey get someone who has used a map and compass to fix this ! Quite using kids just out of high school to do your coding and system changes!

I’ve had my 4Runner for less than a month but am completely pleased. 4Runners aren’t the epitome of modern vehicle electronics but the 2020 has significant updates that bring them closer. I believe the 2020 updates are good, practical, and useful while not being overdone. My favorite aspect of 4Runners is that they do retain their classic style, strengths, dependability, practicality and character. I hope they don’t change, just for the sake of change.
