Large Luxury Toyota
I have owned a Toyota Tercel/Corolla and Camery XLE. (And the Honda Odessey x2) Love Toyota's quality and reliability. The Avalon Limited 2008 isno different but it has the luxury w/o the price tag of other luxury cars. Love it. Con: side mirrors do not fold in.

Perfect in every way...
Have driven my Avalon for two years. Ride, comfortable seats, limo-like legroom in rear seat area, power, quality, quietness, fit & finish are best I ever had. Truly an Interstate cruiser and the best part...nothing breaks...all it ever needs is an oil change every 5,000! Great car!

Best car I have owned
I purchased this 2008 XLS new. It has all the features of a Lexus at much less cost. It handles beautifully, rides smooth, and has great braking. I love it's sharp turning radius. I get appx. 20-21 MPG around town and 32 MPG on the highway. The acceleration is very impressive and I very much like the interior layout. The sound system is beautiful.

LOVE, LOVE, this car!!!
I recently purchased a 2008 XLS and I love it. I owned a Lexus 400 before driving this one and I can honestly say that I'm enjoying my Avalon more. It handles so well and has great features. It is so roomy and has a lot of different compartments. The trunk is HUGE and so is the back seat. I would definately recommend this car to anyone and wouldn't hesitate to buy another. (Just hope it's not anytime soon!) It also really does get good gas milage.

Best Family Car Besides Minivan!!!
Traded from Camry to Avalon, good looks, powerful at highway speeds, great mileage (comparable to camry on highway). With three children, two of them in car seats, back seat has more than enough room. Did plenty of research before even going for a test drive the only negative I read was that this car was not for the younger crowd. Bought car in July 2008, it's a 2006 XL and it has plenty of oomph when you need it or want it!!

best car I have ever owned
The Avalon gives great gas mileage for a car of this size.I regularly get 35 miles per gallon on the highway and it runs on regular gas. It has excellent acceleration. There is a lot of room on the inside, I am six feet four and there is plenty of head and leg room. I have over thirty thousand miles on this car and no repairs of any kind have had to be made. My other car is a Lexus gs 300 and I consider the two cars similar in quality and materials, You could put a Lexus nameplate on this car and sell it for $10,000 more. The styling is a little too conservative, this is the only fault I can find with this car

The Right Car for Me
I love this car! Need I say more? I have owned many Toyotas but was looking for one a bit larger in scale and I found it in this. I have to question their thinking on a few things however. The lesser Touring model has Xenon headlights as does the Limited. The XLS does not. Why no seat heaters? GPS navigation is OK but tends to "give up" in residential neighborhoods. My AT&T Blackberry GPS does a better job. No problems with the car. GREAT gas mileage.

Panic Stop
I had a chance(need) to test out the upgraded brakes on my 08 Limited the other day. The results were stunning and probably saved me from a high speed crash. I am now a great believer in Toyota engineering. This is my first Toyota but will not be the last.

EXPRESSWAY MOTORS TOYOTA HORRIBLE DEALER
Expressway Motors is a bad dealership. They trash other dealers and wear superman suits in the ad campaign. It took them 8 days to deliver a car from 30 miles away, no problems with my credit or money. Always a different excuse, someone else's fault. Made me replace my personal check with a cashier's check, then they submitted my personal check for payment - 2 x 8,500.00 would have been a problem if my bank had not caught it. Horrible dealership. Great car. Like it very much. Normally a sportscar fanatic (professionally tuned 06 Evo IX SE, 01 BMW M Coupe w/ handbuilt s54 engine), but need an everyday car. This is comfortable and smooth. I love the smoothness. Refined ergonomics. No fussy confusing controls. This reminds me of my first big American cars, only it's fast, efficient and well built. New car got 28mpg on highway, 20 in town over X-mas.
