Great ride and gets you where you want to go in safety and comfort, what more could you ask from a car, and it's a Toyota! No high monthly payments, put your savings to work for you in an IRA or 401K and pay yourself instead of car and finance companies. Always minimize your cost to get from A to B and make yourself rich instead of making other people rich.

I agree, old Camry age like fine wine

Had it since the day it was "born" and have loved every minute of it. Reliable, comfortable to drive, it loves the Highways and open roads. Good gas mileage and not outrageously costly to repair those things that eventually need to be repaired or replaced. Mileage in town isn't bad either and this great looking black coupe has survived 20+ years in a nasty, cold climate and now is enjoying its later years in the sun and fun of the South--just like me!

Toyotas just wont die

Very unique clutch. Drives like a bowl of soup. Not a fashionable car. But always reliable, cheap and easy to fix anything that breaks. Never left me stranded ever, never failed to start. Enormous trunk space with seats that fold down completely so that I had as much transport storage as any SUV or small flat bed truck- seriously. Great turning radius, which is not something you'd normally think of, but when you drive other cars after this one you see how much of an advantage it is. Not a car to be used as a speedy little racer, but it is a pretty comfortable drive, good for commutes.

'94 LE V6 290k miles and still going

I bought this car new back in '94 and just surpassed 290k miles. The usual maintenance, no issues with the transmission or electrical, everything is still stock and runs great. A month ago I had to get a brake fluid leak fixed and the front rotors replaced, but that is it as far as any major maintenance issues. Most of the miles are highway miles and I still avg 32 MPG. No complaints with this car, I'm going to drive it 'till it drops.

By far the best car I've owned to date.

I bought a '94 Camry V6 XLE at 210,000 miles, was a one-owner vehicle and was kept in a family of mechanics. From the get-go, I was thrilled to drive this car. It has a very luxurious ride quality that's as smooth as glass, rolls just a tad when around going around corners, and the V6 engine is smooth and quiet with decent in-town and highway gas mileage, but is quite lively when on the throttle, despite the lack of a lot of low-end torque. I can definitely say that the pearl green color is what this car wears best, and black is also a nice color. The roomy interior also has a nice plush fabric, interior is very ergonomic and easy to use, and I can't complain about the large amount of trunk space. The only maintenance I've had to perform on this car is oil changes every 3,000 miles, transmission fluid and new tires at 235,000 miles, as well as a mild tuneup... It still runs strong and smooth as anything out there today- I'm still driving it!! I think this car is way ahead of its time, and a great first car or daily commuter for anyone looking for a solid, reliable, and comfortable all-around vehicle that won't break your budget. 5 stars from me.

Racing camry

I'm 16 this is my second car, my first was a BMW that I HATED so I saved my own money and bought a 1994 SE coupe. It's actually really nice and I like the look of the coupe with the sporty little spoiler. I was actually surprised how well it handles and takes off! VERY roomy I've fit 7 people (including me) into it! I love this car but I'm trying to get a mercedes

Cheap plastic door handles

I have had to replace both front inside door release handles. The drivers side has broken twice. NOW my passenger side outside door handle has snapped off. They are made ONLY of plastic with absolutely NO metal reinforcement. The price for replacement handles from the dealer became prohibitive but it is dangerous not to replace handles...especially inside. Fortunately I discovered I could buy replacement handles from a chain auto store for a third of the price.
