I like it but I wouldn't buy it new.

I've always had a camry - I had a 1996 before I traded up to my new 2007. I would have kept that old 96 forever but it was really wearing down. I really like how big the interior of my new 07 is, I like the extras it comes with such as the extra space in the center console and the extra jacks to plug in my mp3. My only concern is that the knobs on the dash seem a bit cheaply made as well as other small features on the car. I wish that for the price of a new camry, you also got the same standard of quality you could get 10 years ago. I would buy this car again but I wouldn't buy it brand new - I'm glad I got it used and saved the extra money. It runs nicely.

Best car I ever owned...

Traded in a Cadillac DTS for my Camry when every trip to the garage (which occurred frequently after 85,000 miles) was a $1,000 bill. I've changed the oil every 3,000 (despite recommendation to go longer on synthetic oil) and after 90,000 miles, no other repair or maintenance expenses. Reliable, comfortable and even with the 6 cylinders, I can get 30 mpg on the highway, 27 around town. When this one is paid off, I'll be looking for another.

100 % garbage

In short - underpowered - 158 hp are too little for the car with this weight. Also driverability sucks - shifting is weird, gear box hesitates and in sum is much much worse than old Camry 2003 to 2006. Do not buy it.

The most reliable cars on the planet

After all the recalls Toyota is having, I would still recommend and buy their product. I've owned several cars, Japanese, American and German. My Jeep Grand Cherokee was a total headache. BMW's are nice as long as they are under the factory warranty. Toyota's on the other hand, are different. Warranties expires without having to use it. We have a Camry, 2 Solaras and a Scion XB currently. Went back to all Toyotas.

Blown Radio

Overall the car has been pretty reliable, the JBL radio amplifier has blown twice though. First time it was covered under warranty, the second time I was past the mileage warranty. Gets really good gas mileage for a 270hp V6, roughly 28-30 highway, 25-27 mixed driving. Good solid car, it has 90K miles on it and have only had to fix the radio($720) outside of normal maintenance.

Good car

I owned few other cars in the past (Suzuki, Rav4, Lancer, Civic, 94 Lexus and a mazda) but this car is the best. Camry runs smooth. Very comfort driving, enough leg room. (feel like a 3 bed room apt) Engine is quite silent. smooth gear shifting. Aux port for mp3, ipod. Pros: Enough leg room, smooth ride, comfort, style. Cons: I feel headlamps are bit weak, low mileage (19-20 mpg avg).

The Ripening of a Lemon

What a terrible car! 2007 Toyota Camry. Smart Start left me stranded 3 times far from home. 3 tries before theyfixed it. 20,000 leaking struts. Radio faulty, replaced with refurbished. Wheel bearings shot at 36,000 miles. Car is driven carefullt. Cosmetically in beautiful condition. Watch out for Toyoya's 36,000 warranty. They don't expect it to last much longer before repairs mount. Find a car with longer warranty. This car costs a fortune to repair.

It's what you would expect

I bought a 2007 Camry CE with manual transmission. I decided to buy the Camry because of the Toyota history of reliability, moderate price and it came with anti-lock breaks and front/side airbags. The downside to the CE was that it does not come with keyless entry, but I was able to add it after market for less than $500. After 3 years and 40K+ miles, here are my pros and cons for the car: Pros: No mechanical or fit/finish problems to date, Spacious interior, Steering wheel mounted audio controls Cons: 'Loose' handling feel, Tires that came with the car had poor traction in mild winter conditions, Doesn't come with electronic stabilit control (ESC) standard, Bad gas mileage considering performance and that it is a 4 cylinder standard transmission car(only about 23 average), Weird blue lighting in center dash Overall, its a solid car for the money. Make sure you get ESC if you are buying a Camry.

Most reliable car I have owned and gas efficient.

This car drives very well. It has a quiet engine while running and everything works very well. There is plenty of room in both front and back seats. The remote starter is a great feature on winter days. The security alarm works great and the low milage is a real advantage. This is an excellent car!
