2012 Toyota Camry consumer reviews

My family purchased this vehicle at the end of 2011 right as it came on the dealer lot. I think this model year's styling looks great and really suits the car. Being that this car was one of the very first produced there have been some issues with the car that I believe were fixed with the later 2012's and later years. Recently we had to get a new torque converter put on as a software update didn't fix our issue. However, we were pleasantly surprised to see that Toyota had a Limited Service Campaign going on for this until Oct. 2017 and so it was completely free! xxxxxxto Toyota for not only recognizing problems their vehicle owners have but also ensuring that they rectify the problem at no cost to the owner. There have been no other mechanical issues after this so far and our previous Camry never had any. Toyota is known for their reliability and this Camry, like our previous one, has really shown that statement to be true. It's very comfortable to drive, although our SE model has stiffer shocks than the rest. I think the performance is very good. The punchiness of the line seems very good and it can carry itself pretty good through corners as well. The brakes on this car are very nice and give the driver good confidence they will have time to stop safely in most instances. Overall this car has been very good to our family and Toyota has earned some lifelong customers!

This has been a wonderful car. Never wrecked and well maintained. The miles are predominantly interstate between Montross, VA and Northern VA to visit children.

My daughter had suggested purchasing a Camry when I needed a new car. I have been very impressed with its performance and cost of upkeep.

Toyota means quality, their product is keep on proving and trusty product too. For the 4 member family this car is great to travel and being like a home.

Great on gas, plenty of room, decent speed, oil changes are all it needs. 2nd Camry we've owned and will not be the last.

Great car. Very reliable. Sporty with lots of acceleration but also very comfortable. Large display screen makes audio features readily available

Perfect family car. Bought it for a really good price with low millage. Family vacations were comfortable for the four of us, and the technical features kept my kids busy which was ideal! Had great gas millage averaging 28 mpg on the highway and was able to accomodate luggage for everyone plus some ! Wanted to keep this Camry but my oldest is now going away to college so it's now hers! She loves it and I have piece of mind knowing her travels are safe and cost efficient for her college budget . My next car will definitely be another Toyota...

The 2012 Toyota Camry I purchased made much more sense than purchasing a older model car with the cost of interest on the loan alone. Awesome ride.
