A full sized car with midsize handling.
This is more of a car than I intended to buy. So why did I buy it? Well after much research I was convinced I wanted a Corolla, but I saw that from 2012 the mpg on Camry was vastly improved. When the dealership had a Camry at the right price was persuaded by my wife to go straight away and look. I liked the look and it felt very solid to drive without that run away feeling you can get with some cars. This will happily cruise at 55-65 but will also wander at 30. What made me love it was the combination of comfort and I got 39.1mpg on a long run. It does help that people say “ What a nice car that is” My wife loves her Prius but there is a little envy in her when it gets to the Camry. I am glad we bought it.

Excellent Car - Would Buy Another
I purchased this car after owning a Rav4. I am very happy with the performance and reliability of this car. This is also a fun car to drive - it's sporty for a mid-size car. The seats and interior are comfortable - back seat has plenty of room. Large trunk too. Gas mileage is not as great as I had hoped but better than my Rav4. I plan to keep this car for a long time.

I had another Camry before. When I upgraded my vehicle, I got another Camry. Then because my husband like my car, he bought a Camry for himself too!

Great car, but terribly uninteresting.
Toyota is well-known for its reliable vehicles, which is great. However, as a mid-20s driver, I find it terribly uninteresting in style, and drive. For the most part, it’s a smooth ride with a 4cyl engine that performs well for what I need. It’s very roomy inside with a large trunk. However, I do prefer tighter, sportier handling. Interior styling and technology is ok, but leaves much to be desired. Occasionally music via Bluetooth sounds like an old cassette tape (not sure why). As somebody who lives in northern Minnesota, performance on snow and ice is important and this is where the Camry lacks. Stability control doesn’t kick in when I’d like/need it to and I often get stuck travelling very slowly on moderately icy/snowy roads. In contrast, my old 2012 Focus made driving on ice a breeze. Perhaps I’ll try different tires.
