Redefinition of Fun

This is an excellent vehicle where you can fit 4 adults comfortably. Decent pick up but very nice smooth ride. I am 6'2 and 250 and love it. I get many looks even now and very low noise when room is up.

Purchased 2008 SLE in 2016 and still loving it!

Used to have a 2006 coupe with every bell and whistle you could imagine including DVD's in the headrest! Ended up getting rid of it due to expanding family. Never got over it and husband vowed to buy me another one...a convertible that I always wanted! Finally in Jan 2016 after researching for months we found the perfect one that was in good shape with 126K miles on it. We took her home and got everything major under the hood (except engine, motor etc...) changed out and it has been driven almost everyday to work since. The kids even love riding with the top down on weekends! It is now Nov. 2017 and it's almost been a year since we purchased it. It's still going strong and looking great! Toyota quality for this car is awesome and they really should consider bringing it back!!! I get questions, compliments and stares all the time and people telling me how stylish it still looks for its age! If you have the money to invest about $2K to make sure major things like timing belt, water pump, and what not is done and road ready, you could have a really nice car that will last even with lots of miles! I LOVE THIS CAR!

Great family four seater convertible

Stylish, dependable, economical to operate and great fun in a four seater family friendly convertible. Actually more comfortable and functional than more expensive four seater convertibles like BMW or Mercedes Benz.

I'd have a new one if they still made them!

This is the third Solara I've owned. What's not to love about a two-door coupe that rides like a luxury sedan!?!

The sleeper convertible

This car is very stylish. It's believed by some to be a "female vehicle" but I believe it is masculine as well. I fit comfortably in it and I am 6'2 and over 250 lbs. I have had it with car seats and adults in the rear and no complaints. These are very low maintenance vehicles. I would suggest a lifetime alignment as it sits low to the ground often things come unaligned. Even 9 years later I continue to get compliments and looks. HID and leveling headlights were an option. Be careful in reverse, it may be deceiving. Definitely a care free vehicle and fun. The horsepower is lower and there are things you can do to increase that, but it does what is needed when asked!

Loved the car!!! Best 4 pass convt for the Money

We loved this car from day one! Great comfort and performance. Leather seats are very supportive, but wish the passengers was a little higher.. would have been better if that seat was also power. 4 passengers fit really comfortably, can take 5
