Very reliable car, handles great!
This is a very good and reliable car. I bought the car when it was 2 years old in 1999 in Chicago (and it started and handled easily in the winter, cooled comfortably in the summer), and it handled driving in various elevation roads (in the Sierra Nevadas) with no hesitation. In 2020, it still drives great, starts in very cold weather, heats up and cools quickly. The maintenance is low, and gas mileage still good after 23 years!
Perfect car for the perfect price.
Perfecto. The car is so nice and wonderful, i dont know why more people drive around in these all the time. Simply a perfect car man.
Bulletproof engine
This thing Powers through the snow like a snowblower especially if you have snow tires on it I live in Chicago Illinois right now live in Philadelphia PA I want a nasty snow and bad weather comes this thing fired right up and the freezing sub temperatures with a bad battery and all bombproof dependability just like the Energizer Bunny combustible dependable reliable indestructible little Japanese car when they made this when they broke the mold no other car stands a chance and you do very little maintenance sticky key in turn the key and this thing goes she could drive to the ends of the Earth with this thing as long as you got a full tank of gas and that's it one tough MF and I've always had this as a backup car for my truck what I don't want to spend a whole lot of money getting gas or whatever excellent just pure excellence they need to start making them like that again no thrills just plain Jane and that's it thank you happy holidays everyone
Toyota is one awesome car
I wouldn't hesitate recommending it.. This is an amazing car i recently got mine at 212,000 miles and i put on it 225,000. Everything works great. Just awesome on gas
Very reliable in spite of age. Got new engine.
Great value priced. Very reliable with a new engine and transmission as well as brakes. Good tires and s lot of Joy to drive. Garage kept without rust.
21 years still going and hate see it go
I got this car in 2003 with 67k miles. Gas mileage excellent and reliable on roads I put this car through so much not once has it left me stranded. The car requires high maintenance did get new 02 sensor, oil sensor, timing chain all belts and idle pulley. It runs smooth while has the original motor and transmission with 400,000 miles this car took me all across the country. I am looking of getting bigger car because outgrown my Corolla seems old cars are bulletproof the will not die just keeps going and going. That was the reason the GEO Prizm is a good car had one that went 250,000 miles same time had my Corolla that died at 260,000 10 years ago which is a Corolla these cars are great.
Most compact, economical and reliable car ever.
Does the job at getting you from Point A to Point B in a reliable manner. The most bang for your buck. You will not regret it.
Insanely Reliable
I loved driving this car. I never had any problem with it starting, with the engine, anything. If you need new tires there will be a hard vibration when going 65- 70 mph, but once over 70 it rides smooth again, but also that was really my fault, not the car's. The only complaint I had about this car was that the cup holders can only hold certain cups. They have to be fairly narrow and not very tall. On the up side I used those cup holders for years as a phone holder instead of getting a real one. Did a good job of holding my phone with directions for long rides.
great year for corollas
Good example of a frills free real car without all the electronics loaded onto new cars. This car model provides entry level commuting for millions of people around the world.
MOST RELIABLE CAR THAT I'VE OWN
IT IS A NICE TRANSPORTATION AND GAS SAVER, THE PARTS AREN'T EXPENSIVE, AND THE PERFORMANCE IS GOOD AS WELL.
