2008 Toyota Corolla consumer reviews

It is affordable to maintain compared to other car makes. It's a dependable daily driver. It's little I-4 engine is small but indestructible. It will go and go and go as long as you take care of it (regularly servicing it). I would buy this car again!

Great fundamentals. Under the hood, there is plenty of room to work on vehicle. I have only owned it for a few months, but so far so good!

Only small gripes with the car. The 5A at 110k miles is snappy and fun to drive, handling is good. With relatively tires on the front I still skid them out in average conditions from a stop, which is irritating. The only minor gripes are non-standard cruise control (which I override to avoid downshifts when going up hills anyway) and the lack of a heads-up display to show your current gear. (My celica and Sienna had the gear you're in displayed on the instrument panel, this does not, it forces a look down past your knee to inspect it.) I'm 6'5 and I fit relatively comfortably inside, I doubt it will be comfortable for passengers in the rear seat however. Not my problem though is it? ;)

cargo space great, drive is smooth excellent maintenance no major issues car runs smooth and space is good. The brake to accelartion ratio is ok, can do with a bit more speed but great mileage too , all in all perfect car . no wonder why you do not find alot of these second hand ownders love it.

The most outstanding features I love about this car is the spacious interior, comfortable seats and excellent fuel economy. You gotta own this car to know what it's really worth.

Great car to own. Going to hand it down to my son. These cars are built to last. Easy to maintain. I would recommend to get this car. Then get what you like. If the car you like breaks down. This wont. So you will all ways have wheels.

Meets all my needs and is very reliable. Great fun car to drive around and doesn’t look bad at all either. Great on gas average 28 mpg city and 38 on highway

Very reliable car. bought brand new on year 2008. Never had any problems for 11 years. I think I am going to use this car for another decade. sometimes I wish it made some problems so I can dream about getting a new car. Its that reliable. far as the performance, designs, or fun. I guess I can't expect too much from it.

EXCELLENT DAILY COMMUTER, Low maintenance cost and will last a lifetime for any use even daily commute to long term driving since the gas efficiency is also through the roof!!
