Great Gas Mileage

I bought it used a month ago with 22,000 miles. It had been sitting on a Buick dealer's lot for five months until they finally lowered the price. The gas mileage is great, close to 30 in my city/suburban situation. The interior is fairly stylish for a small, basic car. Also, I have the "S" trim which is really sporty with cool wheels, so the look of the exterior is great. It's a little noisy at higher speeds, because of the CVT (no gears) transmission, which they're putting in all these little cars nowadays because of the better gas mileage advantage. One nice thing is that Toyota owns the company that builds these transmissions and they've got a good track record. There's a lot of information online about other brands of cars with a different company's CVTs that sometimes fail and are expensive to replace. Feeling pretty good about my purchase on that score. The only negative with the car was due to the fact that it was sitting on the lot for a while. The breaks and rotors had rusted over and I had to get them re-done to get rid of the scraping and throbbing noises. But I factored that into the deal and, being a small Toyota, the cost of the repairs wasn't much. The car sounds great, now! My mechanic says these are great little cars and I'm feeling very good about the purchase.

Perfect car

I loved my corolla sport so much. It was super stylish yet also a good, reliable car. It kept me very safe in my accident and I was told it did “everything it was supposed to”. I will definitely miss this car. it had over 70k miles on it but ran like new. The seats were partly leather and my backup camera was so nice.

I Expect Lots of Miles from This One

With driving part-time and chauffeuring my teens, I put about 40,000 miles on a car each year. This car has given me NO problems, just the usual maintenance needs!

Good car but, not easy for my wife to drive.

The corolla is a good car but, my wife said she could not see around well enough to fell safe driving it. We had the same issue as our prior 2012 corolla. We traded in for a 2019 Toyota yaris sedan. My wife loves the smaller cars.
